Factory replacement or aftermarket? From?

View attachment 1499446 Had my 16-yo drive it to pick up his brother while I had "his" 4Runner on a longer commute. Rear-ended a boat on a trailer. Boo
I feel your pain, my daughter just totalled her sweet 05 tsx. ..ughh! Thankful her and my son weren't hurt but the wimp (man or boy I should say) in the full size suv is still getting back treatment while "managing " to still work!! Hmmm!!

its amazing how bad your window channel rubber is and you don't even realize it. No wonder they cost a little bit.
I did my driver window. It was only ten years old but I guess texas sun will do that. It's so nice to have a fast and quiet window. Very much worthwhile.

Funny thing happened today, and not even the weekend. I get home from work and a few minutes later @LandCruiserPhil is in my driveway. He's come to "help" me install his cooling fan kit. I ordered it yesterday and I guess hand delivery and install was included. I jest of course, but only slightly. He was coming to my area and offered to swing by. Who does that?! I was looking forward to installing when it arrived at a later date but you know I'm not going to turn down the master and creator himself. Amazing community here on MUD and I think even more so with our CSC crew. Cannot thank you enough Phil. Class act.

The man himself doing probably the only slightly more difficult part. I did hold the light. I did do my part which I'm hoping made it go slightly quicker. Yes it is pretty simple.

Finished and runs smooth.

Glad you were able to work with my standard 3 hour notice and that I had the time to help. We need to keep the wife and kids cool and comfortable in these summer months.
Trent did do 90% of the Plug & Play wiring. Total install time slightly more than a hour, including stories.

Gathering parts to make a hybrid carrier and install 5.29s in my 1999 100.

I can't wait to slap the 35"s back on after they go in.

Hopefully they play nice with the 3.12 transfer case gears on the trail :smokin:

Now I'm just debating on whether or not I should wait and buy a front locker to replace the two pinion diff or install them now and leave the front open :censor:

@DirtDawg check out this picture of my blown rear bushing. 2/4 were like that. I ended up buying a full metaltech rear control arm package because they had a 4th of July sale, but I have purchased a few things from trail tailor and they also have them and make great products.

I got a little irritated when my passengers got a water drop or two when riding shotgun. The evaporator was sweating due to an air leak. This bad boy right here got it all fixed up. Took under 30 minutes and I have tested it a few times. No more drops.

@TXSunDevil , I have a similar issue under the glovebox area. Is this where you replaced the packing cooler? Any more pics?

Sorry I did not take any photos. Real easy job. Remove 2 glove box screws. Open and remove box. Then unscrew 3 screws on trim piece behind glove box and remove once you disconnect the airbag sensor and switch wire. Unscrew 8 screws on evaporator cover. Remove plug from cover. Gently pull cover. It is tight but comes out without too much cursing. Install new packing and reverse. PM me if you have any other questions.

I'm not a huge fan of too many stickers. But I thought @Ramathorn15 's plug and play LX LED kit. It's really thoughtfully built and I wanted to make sure he gets a shout out at least somewhere on "Hank McCoy" my LX.

I installed my @SHAGGY101 Group 31 battery tray picked up second hand from @Sandroad
Still running a Group 35. It required trimming off the forward clamp lower lip of the battery to fit in the tray. I also made some spacers for either side out of the spacer plate that came with the battery.

It fits snug now and is way better than the factory rubbermaid tray that it replaced.

Turns out my hunch on 3M M230 Grey Aluminum Matte vinyl is a great match to those Light Greyish Beige Metallic mouldings. Just 13.99 via Amazon Prime and take your time.

Just got em all done, waiting for better light for a full vehicle shot.

Mud flap delete. Finally got the spindle knuckle back on and on the road. Mounted the slee spacers and rock warriors. Only spent a month on jackstands:bang:
