You're just flaunting that thing all over the place huh.....haha. Admittedly I will too when I get mine back from PC and installed. Looking at it never gets old.....truly a piece of art.
Yup - I can't help myself. Plus - when I was shopping I was trying to find as many pics as possible. Happy to promote Team Dissent ...

flaunting is welcome ;)

Went with an Alibaba special. I have always wanted a hard shell tent but couldn't justify the cost. I am sure the big name brands are more than worth it but so is this one at half the price.

How is the Alibaba special holinding up? How is the material and zippers doing?

Thank you for your response

It's holding up great. While not the most ideal setting I used it just the other night on a road trip. Was driving from Dallas to Atlanta through the night and pulled over for a couple hours.

@ga89hoss ... I had never considered a RTT when traveling for roadside camping. Seems obvious now. Much simpler than pitching a tent in those circumstances. Nice looking RTT. Looks $$$

Checked my oil today and once again, I am in awe at the build quality of this Land Cruiser. I have about 7k miles since my last oil change and still have never had to add one drop of oil to this engine in between changes (except the one time that I under filled it by half a quart). Amazing. NOT ONE DRIP of oil in my driveway either. 263,611 miles and counting.

Light wrenching for me; installed a new blower motor and an ultra gauge.

Edit: Forgot to mention I slapped on a new wheel cover to replace one that was missing.

Changed the passenger side, forward O2 sensor. Went in through the wheel well. The hardest part was unclipping the connector. Bought a special socket for O2 sensors that worked like a charm.

Used to drive down to and around on the Sea of Cortez. Could not find any Land Cruiser for my beach runs so I herded some built Bronco's. How hard can it be he's driving a Lexus.:)

Reinstalled my overhauled sunroof. Replaced the gasket too, that was a messy job with the 3M 08008 sealant. Works smooth as butter now.

Reinstalled headliner and all interior trim. I replaced all the snap clips that hold the panels to the body, I bought 50 of them for $15 on eBay, p/n 67771-35010.

Also painted my hood cowl under the wipers. The clips that hold the weatherstripping are fragile so I replaced them. P/N 90467-08108
