I installed 'Strong Arm' lift supports from liftsupportsdepot.com . For the hood and the hatch. The reviews for these on Amazon and other places were stellar. The prices were competitive and they are made right here in Southern California. Total job, including removing the old supports, was less than twenty minutes. Installing the fronts was especially easy. You just install the new ball fittings and snap the supports into place. They seem to work as good better than any OEM ones I have used. Lift supports were also delivered 3 days earlier than promised (3 business days total from order day).

Bought some KO2's on Craigslist a few weeks ago and got those installed recently. Installed Yakima crossbars (REI 20% off sale) and a CVT Mt Rainer tent (been sitting in my garage for weeks) last week and then took a trip down to Big Bend to break in the tent. What a beautiful place, need to schedule more time to take on South Rim.

Will eventually be moving the tent to the top of an m416 trailer. I have one sitting in the garage at the moment, soon to be purchasing a second. I need to install the sliders this week that are sitting in the garage and swap out some fluids.

Took River Road from Rio Grande Village area to Mariscal Mine. Ran into 3 other Land Cruisers while there, two 80's and one 60. Good to see others out in the park.

Please let us know how you go with these, I have the same problem too, generally get the error code after driving for an hour at highway speeds, sometimes it clears itself after a week or so, damn frustrating.
Will do.

Went to do the rear brakes and apparently the tire shop cross threaded one of the lug nuts on the rear wheels

This has happened to me as well a few years ago when I had new tires installed. I just had tires installed today and after reading your post it will urge me to go check my lug nuts this week and make sure they didn't over torque or cross thread my lug nuts. I have never had it happen on the front, just the rear like yours. I actually carry spare lug nuts, studs and washers and such to replace it if it breaks on a trip. It isn't a hard repair, but very irritating.

I installed the hard top to the 40 with new weatherstripping on the doors. I also put st maxx tires on the 100 this week. Based on my behavior winter must officially be here.

hahaha, I wish that was my garage @TheForger That is not my garage at home. That is my garage at work, which I have access to on the weekends. I used it heavily this last weekend to do CV axles in the 100 series and weatherstripping/door install on the 40.

Not lifted yet. ;). 265 General AT2's right now. When these are are worn down I'll get 285 or 295s. Here are some side views.

I'm really digging the red SCS logos on those wheels. Did you add those yourself? I have the same wheels on my LX but without the red logos. I'm running 295/70/16 Ko2s. I'll try to get some pics up later today. BTW I've been a long time reader of mud but this is my first post!

Woops! I meant to say 295/75/16s!

You've had these wheels and never posted?!?!? I was dying to see more examples but I'm glad I pulled the trigger. You can request the red decals. Maybe Vin could hook you up. I want to see yours now!

Could be twins...

Looks awesome! Was considering all colors even matte bronze. Would've been different but settled on matte grey. I think all the colors look great on black.
