Made a couple cuts and did a test fit for some 7" led's (3600 lumens each). They are just sitting in there for now. Will weld them into place soon. Luckily there is an easily accessed 3" square tube that they will attach to.

I also did a temp wire job to make sure relay and lighted fog light switch worked before I run the wires thru the firewall. Everything worked great and lights are really bright. I went with one spot and one flood. Spot actually shines out past the hi beams so that was cool.

What brand/model LED did you use @n55luvr? Those look great.

Replaced the 13 year accumulation of audio gizmos with a BT45-TOY Bluetooth unit. I spent over an hour pulling out old stuff: IPod interface, satellite radio, Bluetooth handsfree calling, some other aftermarket antenna interface I have no idea what it was.

Ordered some brass tee's from amazon and 6 hoses from @beno to do my heater tee maintenance in a week or so.

Added new 285/75/16 Cooper ST Maxx tires, Slee spacers and torsion bar adjustment. Rides better than when I bought it.

This weekend I changed the oil in my LC and helped my neighbor change his oil for the first time in his new-to-him 1999 4-runner. I thought the LC oil filter was a pain to get to, but the 4-runner's was buried.
Idk how you did it, but for future reference it's best to go in through the wheel well. I could change the filter on my old 4Runner in 5 minutes that way.

Some Champaign pearl for the side trim... I believe its time to get in touch with *benc regarding a front bumper.

looks good! did you do this yourself or have it done professionally? I have been debating painting the gray discolored trim on my black LC

Plugs, coil packs, PCV valve. Not as easy as I thought (looking at you #7), but it was my first time, and it runs great.

Added Bluetooth with the USA SPEC BT45-TOY unit. Now I've got hands free calls and music off my phone!

More importantly I made real physical progress on a project I've been slowly working on for the last few years. When you find yourself wanting something that doesn't exist you simply have to figure out how to make it yourself.

May I present to you the very first test fitting of my home built 1:10 Scale RC version of our beloved 100-series Land Cruiser

What size tires are those? You running spacers? Does it rub? ;)

Changed out heater T's...

Changed oil with Pennzoil Platinum. I liked using the full synthetic 5/30 high mileage but I was out of stock. Thinking I should probably add a bottle of Lucas or move up to a 10/40 if I stick with the platinum.

Today I installed LX450 rear springs and new rear pads/rotors. New slide pins in rear calipers.

I had some severely uneven pad wear.

All finished up:

Ben, take me off the bumper list - this RC truck is now the priority! ;-)
@highonpottery, that is just badass! Well done. So... once you've got that form done, making a few more is pretty easy... right?

^Maybe Ben takes trades? LMAO, yeah right.

For the most part, yes I'll be able to pop out a few more when the time comes. There's still SOOO much more I've got planned for it. My "basher" body will be fairly simple, but eventually I'll have a "show version" that will get a full interior, clear head and tail lights, door handles, mirrors, you name it. It's gonna be freaking fantastic.

RC crawlers is kinda my way of satisfying my need for offroading, only I get to do it more often, at home in my yard or even inside the house, do ridiculous things I could never do in a 1:1, and most importantly not worry about totaling my real vehicle and actually being able to "afford" the hobby. (Note to all -- Don't get into hobby-grade RCs if you have limited funds to essentially to piss away on toy cars, it's still an expensive hobby and I could easily build toy truck that costs several thousand dollars)
