Installed a new starter, removed front drive shaft while waiting to replace leaking seals on the front dif.

This happened. Almost done. 488's with TJM front and rear diff locks.

Had a new flex plate, rear main seal, etc., installed yesterday at Robbie's. Glad I got to it before it completely failed. For you higher mileage guys (and especially those with turbo/SC units) I'd recommend a thorough inspection of the FP via the inspection window on the bell housing: Methinks this should be added to the 90K PM list of "to-do's".

Talk to me about powder coating the individual pieces then assembling... @IHScout1175 - why did the bolts need the BFH? My plan (I think) is the same as yours - powder coating the center section and the wings a dark grey (same as OEM bumper) and the vertical ribs black. Are we going to run into clearance issues, bolt length, etc?

Yes Ben dropped off the parts at the powder coating place and I brought my rig over and picked the best matching color..reason I had to use the "persuader :)" was because when the place coated it & weren't quite happy so they put a 3rd coat on it which made it a bit snug & honestly probably could have got it on without the hammer...

Removed door panel and determined best placement.

Smooth, did you deaden all your doors? that might be a good next project..

Changed a tire in the middle of my trail ride while parked on about a 20 degree incline. I had no other choice and I was riding on rim so I could only move a couple feet either way until I started to cause rim damage. The hill I was on is a lot steeper than it looks! Talk about a PITA...

Yes. Fronts are probably overkill though - Dynamat Extreme on the outer panel and BAM focal on the inner skin.

I used Dynamat Extreme on the rear doors and rear lift gate.

If I come across some BAM for cheap, I'll probably use on the inner skin of the rear doors. But that's just a big "if".

Came across these bad boys on CL a few days ago, scooped them up today after much deliberation. Couldn't pass them up though. We'll see if I can wait until the current tires on my wife's rig wear out. Not very confident in that kind of patience. Looking at going 305/65. Not sure if I'll go with 10mm spacers or 1". Paint those two center caps and will be all good.
