Flushed the AHC and tightened the torsion bars so I'm within spec.

Did flushing the AHC do anything to neutral pressure? I am not sure why it would, but thought I's ask. Thanks,

Dunno bc I didn't check the pressures prior to the flush. Doubt the flush it would have any effect though. I sprayed down all bolts with wd40 a few days prior to adjustment and lifted the front wheels. I turned the torsion bolts clockwise 3 full rotations on each side. This is the first time I've done this and it wasn't difficult at all and all my AHC bolts were rusty. Used about 1.25 cans of AHC fluid.

And here's a before shot of the neutral pressure pre-torsion bar adjustment.

LOL!

I got my NH State Inpection done today ($21)..... cheapest I've ever gotten out of the Toyota dealership!!! :)

My wife DD's a Lexus RX350, but when we go on a long trip she still insists that we take the LCA (even though it's 8 years OLDER than her car!)... we ran down to Newport RI last week and it ran SOOO smoothly at 85MPH down the highway that I swear it felt like a brand new car. Quiet, comfortable and luxurious. The only thing that betrays the truck's age is the cassette/CD player in the dash instead of a newer touchscreen!

I just did the nav touch screen cd player... off ebay for $150 45min install makes it feel like my wifes LX

Just installed a new Alpine head unit with Apple CarPlay. No more tape adapter!!! Well worth the $$$.

NICE!

Tell us more! Can you do wireless to your iPhone with the latest iOS updates (8.4 IIRC)??

How is the fit in the double DIN as far as gaps around the sides? Are they uniform? It looks like it might sit slightly proud of the dash bezel.... though I suspect this could be a simple mounting bracket adjustment if desired....

Full disclosure... I'm am a Apple user, so my opinion is somewhat bias. Anyway, the unit does sit a bit 'proud" but it does not protrude that far in my opinion. It may be the angle of the pic. The fit is uniform. So... this model does not have a CD player or Bluetooth, which may be an issue for some... You use your phone's lightning to USB (the charging cord) to connect and done. No waiting for Bluetooth to connect, which can be a pain at times even in my 2015 Audi Allroad. Simple and functional. Apple Maps is the only mapping program that works, which I thought initially would be an issue, but I must say that program is not as bad as it once was. The units integration with your phone is seamless, and you can still use your phone while driving. All in all I'm very happy with it. I've been waiting for something like this for a long time!!

SpiderTrax wheel spacers. Been low on my list but pulled the trigger while visiting Slee's showroom Monday afternoon. I wish I had 10K to spend with Christo and family. They are always so nice when I come in.
So on with the pictures :-)

Looks good. Did you you go with the 1" or 1.25" ?

Have you had the opportunity to drive at any speed above city traffic into a few nice sharp turns? I felt like the stability and cornering were night and day different (for the better)

Enjoy

Over the past week in preparation for HIH and help from my friends i installed a factory rack and pinion, axles and flanges, tundra antenna, new jensen in dash navigation/bluetooth/cd player with backup cam, dissent front bumper /lights and now im waiting for my just differential UCA's and diff drop so i can get it aligned!

Today I did the dreaded master cylinder rebuild (kit)and new booster replacement. Easier than I expected but that's in big part to the folks on this forum and all the good how-to's/advice. I will add, do not remove the electrical black box on the side. I did and a part fell out. Luckily I was able to put it back properly but it could have been ugly. Bled them with my stepson and the brakes have never been better. Expensive fix but could have been even more expensive with a new master cylinder.

Join the club! I would recommend putting up a barrier as well since any objects you have up there will become lethal projectiles if you were to get in a wreck. Good luck! Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.
