Join the club! I would recommend putting up a barrier as well since any objects you have up there will become lethal projectiles if you were to get in a wreck. Good luck! Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

That is fantastic! I love the hinges on the front so you could swing it up if needed. Brilliant, and I am going to steal it. :-)

Yes that would be another thing I would recommend if you did a barrier/cargo rack like that. It allows me to throw items in the back without getting out of the truck, but the headrests block it from swinging forward so it contains all of the tools in the event of an accident. I'm sure that axe I have up there wouldn't feel too great if it came flying forward!

Done. I'll plan a better way of mounting it after HIH. It's plenty good for now. Just going to use it for towels, blankets, etc..

Installed my timing belt with all the goodies. For all of you that are thinking about doing it but are afraid.
It is very doable. Work organized and do not rush and everything will go in smooth.
It feels good to be able to accomplished a challenging job like timing belt.
My 15 year old son stood next to me the whole time. Good bonding time.

Ha! Great idea..thanks

Search Attic Rack. Many have done it in the 80 section (including myself). Mounting strategies would be the same which is nice so I could easily put it in our 100.

How long did it take you from start to finish? The LX still has a year or more but my :princess:'s RX400h needs it and I'm on the fence on hiring it out or doing it myself.

Planned a whole weekend. This was taking my time to clean parts, double checking that everything was in place the way it supposed to be and torquing all bolts and nuts to recommended specs.
