Nothing says fun like LOWER CONTROL ARMS!!!!
Noticed this along with some tire wear the other day (hint: the close one is bendy, unlike the other):

So I purchased some used LCA's from a MUD member, cut some angle iron to match, sanded them down, then gave them a soak in some Evaporust (stuff works sooooooooo well):

Clamped everything down, welded it up, then grinded / flapped disced down all the boogerwelds:

Best way I've found to shake up a rattle can:

Self etching epoxy primer, then Rustoleum Professional black (loved how much paint came out of this can):

I'll post up the "installed" pics after the paint dries up nicely in a couple days. Now, off to some 4th of July festivities.

Check his build thread https://forum.ih8mud.com/index.php?threads/40-Guy-Builds-a-100-Series.818215/Rezarf. What head unit did you go with? Looks sharp. I have been wanting to do the same with my truck. Did you do the install yourself? How about a write up on how to do it? Kinda scared of doing something like this myself. I'm afraid of breaking something or messing up the wiring or having dash rattles when it's all put back together.

I finally installed the passengers side, ARB rear bumper swing-out with tire carrier, antenna mount and hi lift mount. Next up in the rear of my 100, I will be dropping the factory spare that is underneath, and adding a water tank and an air tank where the factory spare used to be. Next up in general, will be flipping the Gamiviti roof rack back over and removing the high lift mounts and rotopax mounts from the rack. Once that's done, I am taking it to Mudrak's and getting the LRA 42 gal main replacement fuel tank installed. (Getting ready for the Kokopelli run at next years Cruise Moab or maybe even a trip to Cruiser Fest this fall pre CM2016.)

CappyKD, you still running AHC? I can't remember.
If you get the chance would like to see pics of the air / water tank install.
Put the boards back on for my very preggo Wifey. :-(

My wife is due Aug 20 with our first and is having trouble getting in/out of my LX too, I try to remember to lower the AHC but often forget. I've got a trip this weekend and told her that I'd put them back on when I get home. I just hope she doesn't get too used to them.

Congrats to you both. I just had my 2nd on May 15th. When my cruiser was stock height with 33's and no sliders yet my wife needed a boost. After I lifted it and put on the sliders she still needed help since the sliders were too high. You guys are much nicer than me, I just said "cmon, jump honey!"
Interesting. My wife DD's our 100. She had our second daughter 5/21. OME lift on 33's with sliders. She never said a thing. I love that woman!
Congrats to both of you!
