The exhaust is on the short list for my LC. If you don’t mind, what was your all in cost for the new OEM setup?

I picked up everything needed for catback exhaust refresh for my 2007, not cheap, even with 25% off. I did this pieced out over multiple sales so I don't have the total - sorry.

I used the in press process mentioned a number of places on here. Some grade 8 all thead, a large socket, and a ball joint press receiving cup from a loan-a-tool kit from Advance Auto. Once I had all the pieces it worked like a dream.

I went with Acme threaded rod. Spins like there was no bushing at all.

FWIW, for anyone dealing with exhaust studs/nuts, best purchase of all the sockets/wrenches I've used is this set of extractor sockets from harbor freight... that nut was completely stripped and the 14mm bit no problem

I can attest to this for anybody thinking of tackling the header replacement, which is a huge PITA. I stripped the second nut I tried breaking loose and while I didn't use these specific sockets I can guarantee you will want something beforehand for the inevitable.

Freudian slip right there 🤣

Coming over from the 80 section, just picked up a 99 LX470 with a few issues I will be sorting out. First one was battery light. Checked voltage on a brand new battery and was only reading at 12v checked wiring and fusible links and the alternator is getting replaced. Super fun job! Looks like little maintenance has been done besides timing belt has been done all hoses are getting replaced, coil packs, plugs and serpentine belt. Also air filter not sure what that red velvet filter is.
AHC just flashes when I try to adjust so will be troubleshooting that and probably replacing with LC suspension from @cruiseroutfit time will tell.
Front end is loose at speed with slight wobble, will check steering rack and all bushings.

FYI, for AHC to work all doors/hatch need to be closed and foot off the brake, if in drive.
