Got CEL code P0441 so did new pcv valve, grommet, and hose to start. Valve broke during removal and grommet fell into baffle of course. Pretty sure they were original on the 316k LX. Thankfully wasnt too bad getting the pieces out

LTFT1/2 were around 13%/16% before while idling (6% when under load), now down to 8%/10% (5% under load), so somewhat improved. Will see if CEL comes back. Might check purge valve next

Yes, if it comes back it could be your purge valve.

FWIW, for anyone dealing with exhaust studs/nuts, best purchase of all the sockets/wrenches I've used is this set of extractor sockets from harbor freight... that nut was completely stripped and the 14mm bit no problem

Important stuff - replaced the rear struts to keep me from running into the corner of the liftgate, props to @cruiseroutfit. Tightened the HVAC knobs, had no clue those could get loose.

Swapped a broken lower ball joint with a 555 - CruiserPatch's how-to video was awesome (I think removing the LCAs was far easier than trying to do the ball joints in place).

However, the LCA bushing might as well have been welded into the arm. Thought I'd swap those while I had the arm out re Patch's video, but after 2 hours of pressing, hammering, and blow torching, it didn't move a millimeter.

Without all that mucking around, pretty sure I could do a ball joint in under an hour now.

Patch's video:

On Sunday Feb 8th I was 20 minutes from home after driving 11 hours back from King Of The Hammers. At 1:30 A.M. a horse had gotten loose and wandered on to the interstate. I hit it and rolled several times, crashing through the center median barricade. Fire/Ems in Fruita, CO was able to rip my door open to extract and get me to the hospital. I was there for 10 days, suffered from a broken T3 vertebrae, broken right hand, bruised lungs, brain bleed, 17 staples in my head, a tramatic brain injury and cuts/bruises all over the place. I have zero memory of the horse or crash. My last memory is getting gas in St. George, Utah about 4 hours before it happened. A 17 year old kid who I haven’t met yet, was returning home to Denver from KOH also hit the horse after I did but was able to pull over and I believe he called 911.

I’m home now, recovery is going well but I know time needs to do its thing.

Always wear your seat belt, God is good, and drive a Land Cruiser.

So glad you’re recovering Kyle. Me and the SC boys have been praying for you!

Cleaned it up and took it to cars and coffee this morning.

Spring time in Texas - 80 degrees this weekend. Used it to haul 50 bags of mulch (20 bags in the picture), 3 thuja green giant arborvitae trees about 6-7 ft tall, spring boxwood, and texas sage. No need for a pickup truck.
