Managed to get the other LCA replaced yesterday after I was dumb and used an impact/no lube on the tool I got from Patch. Also threw on one of the McMaster clamps on since my passenger outboard boot was leaking.

Still need to do UCAs since I got some Dobinson arms during BF. Also need to replace my steering rack/OTRE. Might strip/paint the spindles and calipers too

put on a brand new MAF today. I figured after 300K miles is couldn't hurt. And now I have a spare.

Honestly, no. but I've only driven it about 5 miles since I changed it. Last week when I changed the fuel filter and I definitely can tell a difference. Throttle is more responsive and feels like it's a little more powerful. This just may be from the throttle response. But no change in MPG yet, but my truck is on the heavy side.

I ordered a fuel filter, among other things, during the 25% sale. Figured I'm past due with 189,000 miles and I am sure its never been replaced since I bought the truck with 46,000 miles back in 2017. Definitely overlooked this item.

Replaced brake fluid in 3 of 4 Lexii for the first time. This is the first time I have ever bled or replaced brake fluid in any vehicle. Can't tell any difference. Unless my 2000 LX had it done before 43k miles when I got it, it has 493k miles on the same fluid and never had an issue with fluid, leaks, booster assembly. But of course I will any day now.

Did you use a scan tool to bleed the brakes on the LX?

No. I used a clear hose, a pickle jar and ignition switch turning on several times to build accumaltor pressure and pushed pedal to force fluid out while adding new fluid in reservoir.. Eazzy peezzyy.

Not a huge fan of roof light bars BUT once again, winter in Missouri = boredom. I decided to bite the bullet but it had to be very low profile. I fabricated my own brackets and I'm quite pleased with the results. I wanted to position it right behind the sunroof. I've got plenty of lights on the bumper so this was just more of a fun project and probably isn't gonna put out a ton of trail light to be honest. 3/16", 2" flat bar. Total overkill.

Oh my. Well it does indeed put out some nice light. Probably enough to get a good look at uranus.

Have never been a fan of roof mount, a ton of light wash on the hood
This one is mounted WAYYYYYYYYY back. No hood wash. It's even further back than the rear of the sunroof.

Me too! Any tips to this specific jobs or PCB board work?

Closest I’ve come is some vintage Pioneer work

No- I saw a write up here I think and said “oh that looks easy enough to do let me get the solder sucker tools for $35 or whatever and then …life intervenes. But after 30 yrs of soldering random stuff together as needed… a decent adjustable soldering iron really helps, probably a couple different tip sizes if you can get em. Google up your material and what solder/solize/temp is best and go for it.

correct. weather tech. had a crazy sale almost 50% off IIRCT
These are great mats. I have been using them for 25 years on various vehicles in all sorts of environments. I have them in all three vehicles right now. As I am typing this, I realized each car has a different color of the same WT mats. 1998 LC100 has beige (10 years old and still great), 2013 Mercedes GLK350 has black (11 years old and still really nice), 2016 Mercedes E350 has the brown/espresso color (3 years old and still nice and pliable like new). If my Ducati needed mats, I would put em on that too!

Prepping for my 15th or so trip to Moab. I'm usually posting fabrication type posts but man I've been wanting to get my walkie out of my cupholders---that's where my Diet Mtn Dew goes! This will be perfect.

I kept trying to keep it on my seatbelt but it kept sliding all the way down to the buckle receiver. Sidenote: I wish they made Zero Sugar Baja Blast. It's like a margarita w/o the tequila.

HA! Hear you on the Baja Blast.

Gamiviti makes a mic holder for seat belts that I kind of like. I picked up a few of them a couple years ago.

I find that I'm way too fidgety and I get in and out of my truck too much for it to not send the radio that I forgot about flying, but it DOES keep it well positioned without sliding.
