Added a 2gallon water RotoPax with spigot that I will use to fill dogs’ water bowl. Attached the RotoPax bracket to the Dissent tray cross brace with 2 M7 x 75mm bolts with washers, lock washers, and nylon lock nuts.

Guys,
Don’t want to spam the threads but one of our own needs us.

Our good friend and vendor @plaidwagon was in a bad accident. Details on the link down below.

Thank you for sharing. It's good to see the support for him and his family from the community. I've been blessed through similar unfortunate circumstances to be supported by several communities around me and am glad for the opportunity to "pay forward" a bit of the support I've been blessed by over the years.

So I have been chasing an annoying shimmy that I encounter between 55 and 70 mph; it has been eating at me for months now. Two days ago, I got my 35s installed and asked the tire shop's owner to check the outgoing tires for any signs of "out of round" and etc. I am quoting him here - "One of your tires must as well be square, it is in a real bad shape. Also, the rim that was mounted on the front right is bent, and two of your studs are toast." One hole got plugged, and another opened up. Stupid Windrock and its awesome trails got me for a new Icon Rebound. "When you send it, you've got to mend it."

Mock up for an upcoming 500 mile road trip continues with wife, 2 kids, and 2 large dogs.

Dual swingouts clear the Pakmule with a large storage case. I had to get a ~10” hitch extension with a 4” drop. Rated for 10k lbs and 400lbs TW, which on our vehicles it is probably more like 250-300lbs max TW. Anti rattle bracket on the Dissent hitch receiver and anti rattle threaded locking pin at the extension receiver makes things super solid.

We have the same problems when traveling with the same number of creatures. We end up having to use a rooftop cargo box. I hate the thing, but it does its job. It keeps me driving slower too lol.

Hey. Sweet setup! I have the same bumper but never seen a RotoPax being mounted to it...mind blown. Is that a standard mount pack?

Installed:

* switch panel
* onboard battery charger
* cooler piping protector
* remote controlled main switch for winch
* exterior molle panel with water tank

fixed idler pulley

Thanks! Yup just a standard rotopax mount with M7x75mm bolts. They make square tubing mounts as well but I had an extra rotopax mount + a quick trip to the hardware store.

Here’s the spigot from Amazon: Amazon.com: for Rotopax Spigot and Vent Cap Combo Kit - Brass Quarter Turn Faucet & Stainless Steel Air Vent Valve for 3/5 Gallon Water Containers - Complete Leak-Proof Setup for Camping, Overlanding : Patio, Lawn & Garden - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FVXJLXPP?ref=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_Z0RND6GHCPBQKKGV7019&ref_=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_Z0RND6GHCPBQKKGV7019&social_share=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_Z0RND6GHCPBQKKGV7019

One day I’ll grab a dissent bumper. The lead times and the cost is up there for sure but they’re so nice. I might get a front bumper from them and maybe a Nguyen works rear but I love the tube style

Not a huge fan of roof light bars BUT once again, winter in Missouri = boredom. I decided to bite the bullet but it had to be very low profile. I fabricated my own brackets and I'm quite pleased with the results. I wanted to position it right behind the sunroof. I've got plenty of lights on the bumper so this was just more of a fun project and probably isn't gonna put out a ton of trail light to be honest. 3/16", 2" flat bar. Total overkill.

Fiddling around with onboard air after 20 Moab trips over the years. I got the two tire inflation system. I put a dummy male quick connect fitting on the handle of the compressor to lock it onto when I'm not using it. Rubber isolators. Two healthy bolts into the power steering fluid bracket keeps the base plate nice and tight. If it gets too hot under the hood and burns up then so be it. It's colder than heck here in Missouri and I needed a project!

Did damn near the EXACT setup with my smitty bilt compressor down to using the same mount and it's been going great running on 3 years now. The only issue i've seen is the short ft long hose starting to crack from the heat.

Good deal. Yah, I'm curious how the heat will affect things.

I've been eyeing up the ali-express drawer systems for a while as I've not had the ££ to throw at anything more Gucci.

The stars never aligned with finding one in the right format/price, so I decided to build my own.

I've been using 18mm hardwood plywood, which in hindsight might be a bit overkill as the current unfinished drawers are heavy to move.

I've still got to do lots more to finish them yet, I also had fitted a drop down extendable leg to the pull out 'cooking table', however my measurements were slightly out and it's too long to open because of the lower tailgate. I'll be testing whether I need it, as the runners I fitted are sturdy! If I do need the table leg, I'll have to figure out a quick mount option.

Once I've finished it I'll be carpeting it, along with side panels to give it a more fitted look.

I'm also undecided on how to secure it down, but it's a tight fit already and heavy. I've got some tie down lugs that I planned to secure to the sides (hidden by the side panels) of the unit and then strap them to the tie downs in the cargo area. I didn't want to be putting screws into any part of the floor with the rust issues we have here.

To be continued!
