As long as it ships from and is sold by Amazon you’re good. Its when the seller is a 3rd party that you can run into issues. Also larger eBay auto part sellers with 99-100% positive feedback will almost always be legit. All big distributors have eBay storefronts.I wouldn’t buy from Amazon or eBay. Densoproducts.com for me. To each their own.
subtle detail few will notice. Perfect.Previous owner ripped off the chrome strip and the "Lexus" for some unknown reason. I cleaned off the hardened glue but there's a couple holes, a paint chip and some scratches where the strip was. This is kind of cheeky and retro. Wife and I like the look. What do you all think?

It's possible that they fell off and were not removed by the previous owner. I almost lost one, luckily I noticed that it was loose and I affixed it with 3M automotive double sided tape.Previous owner ripped off the chrome strip and the "Lexus" for some unknown reason. The new hotness is the Uniden R8, you can pick up an R7 for under 500 now but the real fast boi thing is having ALP "parking sensors". I don't go faster than 80 in this rig now so I haven't worried about radar detectors and stick to wazeI have to admit, I had too much fun after greasing the driveshafts and doing a diy alignment

The 770mile roadtrip over the weekend to Carlsbad CA and some driving around San Diego and back to Vegas was️ fun. Curious to hear what’s everyone’s radar system of choice?
I use a uniden one as well. Not a fancy one though. It does fine. I turned off K-band since that seems to only be used by automatic doors/gates/ and other cars radar systems. 99.99% of my hits have been KA band and only once was laser. That could have been something random since I was on random back mountain roads and I’m pretty sure those cops don’t need to run laser.I have to admit, I had too much fun after greasing the driveshafts and doing a diy alignment

Nice 100! For Radar Detectors, I have had the Redline 360c, Uniden R7, Uniden R8, the new Valentine one and others. I would rank them: 1. Uniden R8- Easily best overall, great customization. Easy to use interface while driving. Incredible, almost unbelievable range. Easy to update, no firmware glitches. 2. Uniden R7- Interface/buttons/range customization not as good as R8. 3. Redline 360c- Amazing detector when it works correctly. App is great. But the firmware and bug fixes over the last several years have been woefully slow and unreliable. Even when working correctly, I would still take the R8 (it is the one I kept). The Redline is not as easy to use and range is maybe 15% less in my experience, in some scenarios much more.I have to admit, I had too much fun after greasing the driveshafts and doing a diy alignment

Edit- Never use a detector in the 100, I rarely go over 70 in it, so not necessary. Once I realized MPG is 17 at 65-70 and 13-14 MPG at 75-80, I was much more restrained.
Truth be told my top for this trip was 95 (gps speed) and was cruising at 87 95% of time and still got a consistent 15mpg (actual gallons filled and difference of miles computation). A MAF sensor, all 8 spark plugs + coil plugs and O2 sensors are brand new - those are the only variable factors that happened recently. Truck sits on 35x12.5s ATs with aerodynamics of a water buffalo.Once I realized MPG is 17 at 65-70 and 13-14 MPG at 75-80, I was much more restrained. My R8 stays mounted in my W212 Mercedes E Class.
Visiting Vegas with the family for the next 3 days. Hope to see your rig in the area.I have to admit, I had too much fun after greasing the driveshafts and doing a diy alignment
