New hood seal (53183-60071 - SEAL, HEADLAMP COVER TO HOOD for those who are looking for this like I was) installed to cut down on the hood flutter at highways speeds
Finally got the the Owl Expedition ASAP Flaps installed on the rear (thanks
@Ramathorn15 for the great product!). Still need to do the fronts.
Cleaned up a free Rhino X-tray roof basket from a friend and got it mounted and took it on a short trip to AOAA to see how the wind noise is on the highway. Might change up how I have the tracks mounted on there but it gets the GMRS antenna nice and high and will give me some more space for gear when I go on a long trip later this year.
Put together the cheapest tablet mount ever so I can see the trail maps better and keep my phone free for Spotify and pictures (currently waiting on an Ohana Rig Supply Stealth Panel to arrive so I can more cleanly install the tablet mount and radio). It's literally a ball mount screwed to a piece of plywood, wedged between the seat and the center console. It's amazingly stable and puts the tablet in a perfect spot lol
I still need a better solution for the radio handset.
Also installed a Midland MXT275 GMRS radio with a giant filter on the power input that my buddies discovered greatly decreases the whine on transmit that our Toyota ignition systems like to create (not pictured because I'm at my limit but I can find more details if people are curious).
Currently on the lookout for 5x 18" black/machined Tundra wheels so I can upgrade to 275/70R18 KO3s. Might be a while before I pull the trigger on that - I've had zero issues with these Kumho Crugen HTs off road besides not having a ton of ground clearance ... but my wife is insisting that it needs cooler looking tires
edit: oh and I have some
@plaidwagon seat backs and glovebox thingies coming in. Didn't wanna miss out on all the fun everybody else is having!
