Powder coat job. Member here @TRLBOSS gave me the idea, or rather I stole it. The wheels caiman out great. Just doing my diligence to post here on ih8 mud as any good citizen would do. Speedway Gray.
This place in Maryland did it.

Brake rotors, calipers and pads.
Slee stainless steel brake lines.

LC AHC springs, AirLift 60728 bags, and Slee 30mm spacers.

Parking brake has meat on it left so cleaned it and will replace when I do pads again.

Rear upper/lower control arms were done 5k miles ago.

Nice work! Are those calipers Toyota remans or brand new?

Also a perfect time to redo intake and injector seals. But you already knew that!
It's getting the full treatment. Injector service, new FPR and Damper, new hoses, filter, knock sensors, connector receptacles, gaskets, and more.

Thanks! They are Oreilly remans. I used the same reman calipers in the front. They look good hopefully there’s no issues. 5k miles since front end refresh.

another oil change with rear brake pads replaced. Only one caliper slide was needing love which was good!

All my ball joint boots are cracked and toasted along with the seat bar bushings and probably all the other rubber pieces too. That’ll be on the back burner for when I have time to do the control arm bushings as well. Also noted one leaking shock. She’s old but still gold.

I'm back in a 100 Series as of this week! It's a 2004 LX470.

After selling my 1999 in 2021 (in preparation for turning my son forward facing in the car seat; 1999 does not have tether anchors) I went on a journey of personal (vehicle) discovery. What did I find?

-I missed my 100 almost immediately
-My 200 was great but it felt vague and floaty compared to my 100; the 5.7L could not compensate for that lack of connection
-My Tacoma with GFC camper was my attempt at capturing my roof conversion Troopy dreams in a practical and achievable way; the 6 speed manual was fun, but it turns out a Tacoma's not a Troopy; and TacomaWorld isn't ih8mud; Who knew!

After extensive research and some help from 70 series owners, I came to terms with the impractically of a Troopy in my life (for the moment) and decided if I wasn't going to get the Troopy I wanted, I'd get back into a 100.

Can't say how good it feels to be back in a 100, back in this community, and back interacting with friendly faces.

Nice. I've been using O'Reilly remans forever. Never an issue.

Just fitted the 200 Series steering wheel including hardwiring the (left side) controls and illumination on my 2001 (1HDFTE) with just the 6-Pin clockspring and without a third party module :steer: I wanted them for years!

I havent run the wires behind the dash yet, as I hope I will get the right side to work as well.

Can you post another picture of the top view, that’s looks sweet!

Does paying for it count lol I'm doing a suspension refresh and honestly didn't have the time to tackle this as fast as a shop could. Can't wait to get it back and see how it rides (new tires, too).View attachment 3669659
Hell yeah it counts

Worked on my towing setup in my new to me 2004 LX470. Based on the thread I linked above, feelings around the integrated bumper hitch of the mid generation LX470 are... mixed.

I like the idea of it but we'll see how reality compares to expectations when I tow with it in the near future.
