Installed a Prinsu rack Friday afternoon, real happy with it. Making holes in the weather stripping (LX) wasn't too bad.

I used 3 of the newer bottles. I bought 4 just to have reserve.

i used the quicker “non-wasteful” procedure and after an initial drive went back and did a second shorter bleed just to ensure some more contaminated/older fluid was removed.

due to not much fluid bleeding from passenger side on initial bleed I performed my second bleed on the passenger side to begin with.

Is

that the coastal off-road kit? If so, can we see some more pictures? Especially if you didn’t get the swing outs. Last time I looked, the website didn’t have too many pics
sure send me your email to tradikal@me. com

Received some sunblinds for the windshield and the front side windows.
They are made by "Blickdicht Manufaktur" from a fabric called 'blidimax black' which reflects infrared radiation and thus prevents from heating up although it is black on the outside. Inside colour can be chosen from a wide range but i sticked to a dark grey.
The mats are custom sewn for perfect fit to your car and attach to the windows via suction cups.

Love the appearance of the matt black instead of shiny Aluminium-silver :bounce:

Which model works with the Lexus? I would like to get full coverage.

Haha, mine was quick and dirty. I secured it to the existing steel that houses the ashtray (drilled 2 holes). The scangauge is only held with velcro just in case I wanted to be able to hold it up. The other 2 wires coming out are USB phone connections to my headunit. Probably easier if I make it out of aluminum sheet lol

There's a market for something like that for Scangauges and even HAM head units. I don't really ever fab anything up (combination of laziness and lack of appropriate tools).

Somebody beat me to it :) That's a good option.

I hope to get your question right and respond to it in an appropriate way - otherwise, please correct me.

Short answer: I don't know for sure.
Guess: UZJ 100 (7 seater)
Long answer: See below

As stated on their website Blickdicht Manufaktur has been manufacturing blidimax for man different Land Cruisers already (including 4 Runner).

Originally they were coming from the 70series community (they owned one when founding their company) which are quite popular among northern africa travelers all over europe.

For purchasing you do write an email to them and include your vehicle, the number of (which) windows have to be covered, colors for the edges and for the inside and of course for the outside (blidimax or blidimax black). Afterwards they do get in contact for further detailing.

When I did ask for matts for the LX470 / LC100, they were not 100% sure about the mirror of the windscreen (night view and so on) so they sent a plastic sheet and special double sided tape points so I could trace the outlines of the finished product on the Plastic sheet with permanent marker. You mark every area where you got stickers etc so they can place the suction cups at another space.
The same had been done with one side window, just to make sure.
You then send these plastic foils back to them and some weeks later receive the finishen product.

The second row doors should be more or less identical between HZJ105, HDJ100, LX470 und UZJ100. The windshield definitely is not because of the different sizes of mirror mounting and maybe even in outer dimension because of bigger/smaller coverings of the A-pillars. Same for the front side windows, boot lid (HZJ often has vertically divided doors) and side windows in the trunk.
Maybe aboves list of cars is not complete as i can't imagine they dont have made a set for the HDJ100 which has been common in Germany. That one should fit the UZJ of the States except for the trunk side windows pretty close.
To make 100% sure, you would have to compare them side by side... Or ask our Forum Members... Or...
Just Email blickdicht and we'll see ;)

As I bought the Set of 3 just to test them (and beeing very happy so far) I will order some more for the other windows this summer. If you can wait for, you could use my templates then or you can arrange with Blickdicht Manufaktur that I'll be doing the templates for you if you want to avoid the extra shipping of the plastic sheets to the States.

Just let me know if I can help one way or another.

Took the plunge and ordered 2" Ironman Foam Cell Pro lift kit, Slee diff drop and SPC UCA. Also bought all new sway bar links and bushings.

Do I need sway bar extensions for the 2" lift.

Anything else to complete a 2" lift?

Very excited:)

Started with some of the best IPA in St Louis...

used the Rago Fabrication brackets to mount the ARB 2500 x 2500 awning. The brackets are made for 4Runners, but work famously on LX rails!

Installed the Owl Expedition Media mount. Real easy (although I managed to lose one of the 4 center stack bolts down a duct.... don’t ask) install. Great product and very solid.

Painted the front grill the same semi gloss black as the wheels I’ve already done. I also finished the 5th wheel. Eventually all trim will be in this black. 4+ coats primer (self-etching) and 4+ topcoat. Anything is better than the gold.

Drank more beer. In a glass my daughter got me in Iceland. Which I then dropped on the tile floor and broke :(

FINALLY. Installed the ground clamp to complete the Slee Group 31 Battery Tray- I had to order large gauge terminals and a crimper to install it.

Those wheels are way bigger in real life. 25’s maybe. Terrible.

Lastly- installed the super awesome Owl Expedition Media Mount. I felt weird using the tape deck slot for it- just didn’t seem right (I grew up with cassettes fellas).

@mmbirtcher nice! Which Rago awning mounts are those? I don’t see any listed for a 100 series
