So I’ll try to catch things up.

One sunny weekend the kids and I finished stripping the old bed liner inside the tub, primed and painted to match a little Closer. It’s not 100% but at least it’s not nasty black flaky bedliner.

Some Time later we finished up the jump seat covers and installed. Drove it outside and put the bumper back on.

Then took it around the block for the first time.

Somewhwre in there I installed the bikini top front rail. And the factory roll bar back. Planning on another bar on the rear for the family top.

Then we pulled it out back and watched the eclipse from The back yard. We were in totality for 3 min and it was pretty dang cool.

Since then I’ve fought with the rear brakes back and forth here and there. Widred up my dimmer switch, and started trying to fix my wiper transmission.

It’s been around the block a few times and we’ve put like 1.5 Miles on it. Still crap brakes due to the rear being a pain to deal with. Maybe I’ll get time to line that out eventually. It’s really close to being able to drive legally.

I’m hoping to start enjoying it soon.

That catches us up quickly without drama. There’s been a lot of little things between here and there but that’s the small Details you forget you’ve done

Thanks, the trailer is one of my favorite builds, I built it to match the 200. It doesn’t get used as much as I’d like but it’s so handy to have with a family of 5. It’s been out west 2x and to eastern tennesse on big trips. Lots of local trips.

Trying to get this little bugger free. The rod is froze in the brass bushing.

Then I could have wipers.

Small progress tonight.
Oil sender wire connector, gauge works now. Installed the new park lights, installed oem battery tray. Always amazes me what the local Toyota dealer can have next day for my 40.

also I think I have read somewhere that the bib lights are only on on the first pull of the headlight switch. And off with the headlights. Is this correct?

Kinda wish they were on full time.
