I was going to get one from HF, but the 2.5 star average scared me off. Looks like it's either 5 stars, or 1 star for it, very weird. Is this the one you're talking about?

Does no body have friends anymore?!?!! Sheesh. Just do the buddy system. 15mins tops and you are good to go.

True not great but it does get the job done much better than pump and dump. You can up the cost and get the Mighty Vac much better.

I also flush annually along with carrying Dot 4 and a bleeder hose on board. After the first time you boil your old fluid and loose your brakes coming down switch backs you will start doing it also. Or use your tranny in first gear as an engine brake (using 4 low if need be.
FIFY

Been doing that for years, thought I'd try an easier way. Besides, I live in Bumble**** Iowa, most of my friends are 30+ miles a way :(

At least you have friends... I had to fly to LA to get people to work on my 80 with me.

I got a big Mityvac. How do you use it in this case? Would all, or most of the fluid come out?

Same as the other - Start with fresh fluid in the reservoir by using a turkey baster and vac each wheel until clean. You will need to fill the reservoir after each wheel.

Did a trail run and played with the GoPro. Everything that is supposed to move appears to move, and nothing moving that shouldn't!

That was a great video. It is obvious how all of the suspension works together but it is great seeing it in action up close like that!

Lucky you! Sure would like to be there right now. How has the weather been this week?

I change my fluids frequently as well. Wheeling your vehicle is obviously not the same thing as driving it to the mall. Extra care is simply a prudent preventative measure if you want your vehicle to last a long time.

I'm feeling lazy. Need to get new tires for both 80s. For 16" wheels what size is about 33". Is it 275/70r16?

Trying to decide which tire to run as well. Don't want a mud terrain. Want something that is good in the snow, good in dirt/mud, good on road. I've heard the Duratracs and Cooper ST Max (?).

I've had the duratracs on all surfaces and they do well. They are pretty aggressive for an A/T and somewhat noisy.

Wired in a second battery. Ran the cable under the core support strapped to the factory harness.

Finished product almost looks like a factory install, you can't see much of it.

The long lead is well protected from even being touched unless you rip things apart.

Beat me to it. I was gonna say that I had to fly people out to even hang out with me :*(

I just ordered the power set up for the fridge. When are you flying out to install? Thanks.

I've never seen that tool bar. I cannot find a way to make it appear, either. Good thing I can write html.

You can host upload your pictures here in your forum album and then link them in a post as you wish.

Right. When I started here a bit over a year ago, the forum kept ash canning my photos. There is no way without hand jamming html to link them in my "skin". But I can write html, so will use that going forward.

I wonder what other forum features I don't see?
