Added a little red to my rebuild, cleaned the engine bay including a little rust mitigation. And assisted an expert with my PS pump rebuild. Thanks Jim!

Dropped the truck off at the Valley Hybrids for the last part of the Diesel conversion...everything done on my end with the plumbing and electrical. Now Georg and Dom get to have fun with the motor and H151F!

AAA tow for 96.5 miles was perfect.

Let my wife drive the 80 so I could take the Tundra and ROO camping with my two girls. That's my dog on the SUP board.

Fabbed up a bracket to mount my HF2AV shift tower on top of my NV4500 trans.

Also mated my whole new drivetrain together Cummins 6BT + NV4500 + HF2AV...now just need to get it in the cruiser

Attending the Uwharrie Jamboree on Saturday, great time and great people. Some awesome trail riding on private property nearby and the weather was perfect.

Capitol Reef, trails near the park, got locked out of the ignition by the aftermarket alarm, and took the "behind the reef road" to chute Canyon. Ok, a little more than just the weekend.

Has some wind today, blew over a tree onto the driveway. I'm getting over a gi bug, so the last thing I felt like dealing with was the chainsaw. Therefore I did a little work as I could today. One chop with the stihl, then the LC to the rescue:

Spent some time at my friends horse ranch at Kalaeloa. It's a beautiful place and I had a lot of fun tapping in to my Ranchera roots. Just need to remember my cowgirl boots next time.

Picked up a couple Audi bucket seats. Got started on the install.
Had to completely chop up the seats and build new brackets. I have about 12 hours in the driver seat alone.

Finally got out for bit, after 4 new U-joints and shafts balanced, now I have a weird drive line vibration to chase at 65 and up going to start with more grease in the slip joints and go from there, going to be a long couple of days I think

Ran Coyote canyon in Anza Borrego for the first time. Watched a Land Rover discovery struggle to climb the first hill with lots of wheel spin, thought I might get to try out the new locker for the first time. It wasn't needed, just idled up the rocky climb like nothing.

There is actually water out here still!

The land rover was on street tires, it's not a difficult trail.

The truck in the background is a Sequoia that had decided not to climb it. No one I knew. Lots of toyotas/tacomas out in the canyon though.

Maybe you have too much grease in the slip joint. Take the grease zerk out and compress. Some of the grease will squeeze out. Then put the zerk back in and see if it went away. This worked for me.
