Here is Jason's thread. I won't be picking mine up for a few weeks. So it will be that long before the 93-94 sliders are ready. Jason is using my 93 for the jig.

80 Racks, Bumpers and Sliders

Here are a couple of pictures. They are bolt on.

They attach with 1/2" grade 8 yellow zinc u-bolts. They are angled upward and will stick out around 4" from the rocker. I have a guy coming to get a set middle of next week and should have pics posted then.

It has a my 60 sliders on there and will give you a good idea of look. The 80 slider will stick out another 3/4" than the 60 version.

I always assume it's a mistake on the customers part because I am a small business owner myself and I can never understand why this happens. If I find out we haven't returned a customers call, to their satisfaction, within 24 hours we have a major freakout! Cant make money that way and I have 7 (soon to be 8) children to provide for. It's just crazy to me. Hope it works out, though it seems too late.

Picked up a ECU for the new 1993. The existing ECU is throwing the 83, 84, 85 codes which is a known issue with the 93 ECUs that have a certain part number. Got one of the known good part numbers. Stockpiling parts for the new rig. Kind of exciting!

Axle rebuild, new birf, and replaced the viscous coupler. Damn thing was binding more than my wife when she's in the BDSM mood.

Next you will be complaining because your leather is too leathery and your sunroof is too sunny!

If you miss the 3fe you can always drain half the oil and pull one of the spark plug wires. It will probably still be a little faster but it should sound just like the 92.

I'm not getting rid of the 3FE. Never will. She runs like a top and is indestructible. Besides, I'll need to put the locked axles somewhere when the 1FZ-FE blows up...

Drove under some jets. Probably not to many Land Cruisers that have driven underneath a moving 7something7......

.....also gained a greater appreciation for the color blue. The harbor was especially turquoise/aqua on this nearly cloudless day on the south side. That's Diamond Head in the distance.

Got the Slee bumper on last night. Easy peezy. I was able to do it myself in about an hour.

Finally got round to ordering everything needed to install an extra fuse box in the cabin. This will allow me to fit the inverter, some USB charging ports and rewire the various switches that currently each require a cable pulled through the firewall. Using Joey's (NLXTACY) thread from a few years back as my guidance...
