Yes it's doable with full armor, but I really have no desire to head back to Johnson Valley anytime soon. The Hammers are out of the question, but it was cool watching this gen 2 Tacoma with a V8 and SAS mashing through some pretty gnarly stuff!

Hahahaha yeah our cruiser are not made for that. A built mini truck is pretty insane like you said.

They call him "@Qball three times" because he says everything three times. "I'm gonna go get the paper, get the paper, get the paper."

great color! body looks clean too. nice find....

Finally since buying it a year ago took it out for some real wheeling today with a local off road group. Didn't know a single one of them before showing up at the meeting spot and they were very welcoming and great spotters so I didn't rip my flares off. Videos to come....

Built my attic rack/gun rack, and did some backcountry desert exploring

I rescued it from its PO. It's been a little neglected and needs lots of little things. The stickers and taillights are high priority lol. I had to run out and try the lockers out :). 97 CE with 138k miles. Let the fun (and nightmares) begin!

Another Iowegian!

We could take over IH8Mud, but our rigs will dissolve from rust before we could accomplish that.

Went wheeling only to have my inner axle seal fail on the drive back to my parent's (evidenced by birf soup everywhere). Now I get to try to find parts and repair it before I have to drive 5 hours home tomorrow. yay.......

Damn. That isn't just a little bit of weeping. That sucks.

Somewhat of a repeat post (now with pics) but took her on her first real wheeling trip since acquiring her a little over a year ago. It was a local offroad group. It was mostly Heeps, one Samauri, a stock 4 runner, and a Kia.....yes a Kia! They were all very welcoming even though I'd never met any of them. Some sections couldn't have been safely done without good spotters.

Put on my X-mas gift... Used 60 series hood prop on my 80 and new window channel rubber on the passenger side (NO MORE WIND NOISE!)

O and I un-boxed my snorkel knock off just to look it over and it looks... well like any other snorkel

You could lock the center diff and pull the front drive shaft. If you can't find a seal or don't feel like doing it.
