Lol do I need to gopro my odo and drive all day? I don't know why everyone else's cruisers get such **** mileage, maybe 40s are the lucky number for mpg? Ahahahaha oh well I'm not complaining, has been verified the last 2 tanks.

Just saying that's awesome... Like woah awesome.

Looking at the tire charts true 40's and 5.29's look great on paper. But to hear it in real world almost never happens.

Nice job, wish I had gone 40's...

Hammerhead, great video, was watching it then I had dejavu, do you know you have a close relative in Formula 1? Monaco race is coming up...

I've also been told I am some kind of famous bull fighter. When I was in Mexico Last I walked around with my larger cousins and had them translate for me as i looked disinterested in everything just for effect. Its good to know I can maybe get into some good parties too.

Nothing! El Guapo was at the local mechanic getting a new radiator. After 220k miles, the plastic cap on the top (and the bottom?) of the original radiator started cracking. On Thursday evening I noticed several small coolant stains in the driveway. I could see where the top seam was wet, and after running the motor for 6-7 minutes, coolant started to bubble out in a few spots. On Friday morning I decided to top off the coolant before driving her to the mechanic. I poured for several seconds, stopped, and heard the sound of liquid running onto the pavement. Time to call the tow truck.

My full name is the same as a major drug dealer in Brazil. It makes for interesting customs visits in almost every country. Good thing I am 7" taller and far poorer than that guy.

Went through the glove box.

I've had the Cruiser for over six years now. I'm at least the third owner and I never really looked into what was in the packet from the dealer. I was happy to see the original window sticker, the manual for the now deleted security system, along with the owner's manual and supplements.

And speaking of supplements, I found this in there too!

I thought this is odd, the Land Cruiser is my little blue pill!

Being known in some circles as Dutch ecstasy doesn't help either.

Someone probably wants that security system manual. I'd put it in the classifieds if I were you.

Good idea, I'll put it in the classifieds along with the Viagra. Viagra is for pussies!

Hahahahaha!!!!!!!! I actually LOL'ed!

Finished construction and sanding of the sleep platform (and framing for future drawer system). Turned out pretty slick. I wanted to make something that "anyone" could make. No welding or special tools necessary. Total cost of everything was $35. Solid as a rock and plenty of room. Will easily hold two 6'+ adults. Could've made the platform longer but wanted to be able to have the two front seats all the way back. Length is 73". Easily could've added another 12".

The carpet will get installed when it comes in. It will be the most expensive part of the platform/drawers.

It probably weighs 65-75 lbs as is. The plywood is about 40 since I didn't use the full sheet.

I'll add drawers to it when I have time.

Been working on the front seats... Trying to stop the stitching from ripping apart before I get some seat covers... Then I cleaned it all up and got it ready for our wheeling trip the next day!

Everybody was impressed by the 80!!! Albeit it wasn't a hardcore expedition, it had no problem following then leading the pack :)
