Epic trip with @ExpoMax and @Andrew Bluemel. Colorado to Death Valley for 400miles of below sea level awesomeness up to 9500ft with cold and snow. We saw it all, desert dirt, mud, snow, rock, silt, etc. Just a few pics from the trip. Too much to explain here. That place is enormous, but worth it if you can carry enough gas and supplies and trust your rig. We did one stint of nearly 290miles with no fuel stops mostly off road.

Pulled into the parking lot of a local high school for my daughters vb tournament and saw a land cruiser. I went to tell my gf about it and realized it's mine. My daughter drove it to vb.

My gf says at least you like your land cruiser

Yes. Had glass out repaint done last year and had them also spray the underside. It was in good shape but I keep it near the coast so wanted so extra protection.
So jealous

Not to worry. We do, and that’s not a work truck. It’s on 37’s, built up, etc.

The new purchase made it home, had not been driven more than a couple miles in over a year, only had to change the alternator belts that snapped and top off power steering fluid. 45 miles trip and it actually runs pretty good.

Up early this morning, finished buttoning up the engine compartment in the 40 after replacing the side cover gasket. Moved on to the 80 and changed the oil / filter, took a Blackstone sample to send off, and checked all the other fluids. I usually run 5/30 Syn but am going with a Quaker State 5/40 since it’s about to warm up here. I need to do some work on the interior but will wait until I’ve shuttled the dogs for a bath later this morning.
