She doesn't like the size of the 80. "it's to big".... It also put's me back to my roots.
The plan is to 3link, dual ultimate cases , leaf springs for the rear and 37's
That'll be a great, solid rig. I cant tell ya how many times I thought about leaves in the rear of my LX...... Finally did upper and lower adjustables, but theres days where I still wonder "what if"

I have 3rd gen seats in the front of my Lexass, and are perfect. Little bit of work to get them mounted, but sure are comfortable.

Picked up this 80 series to complement my 100 series build. Fabbed up a winch plate and took her out for a first rodeo yesterday. Brother in law has never been off road so i put him behind the wheel for most of it and just played spotter. Had some fun.

Had some spare keys cut for my HDJ80 today. Lexus blanks were the only OEM ones I could find. The key maker tested my key, and said it had a chip in it. However, both keys started the vehicle. So, I guess someone has put a chip somewhere on the vehicle as a bypass. As long as it works, that's fine with me.

If you scour the Japanese auction sites you can find OEM ones

It's a beauty
@Tears What is the exact model number of this model & what country it's from.

I recommended a third party site like

I bet he had a blast, and maybe hooked? Looks like perfect starter terrain for you to test the new cruiser and novice off road driver!

Ok so I reset the fuel trims by disconnecting the battery and after getting the temp up to normal running, arojnd 176F or 80C, the fuel system won't close. stft and ltft are both 0 and not moving.

I tried driving it around and it would struggle and I hear some pops or woofs.
Did you solve this problem? I have the same issue and am completely stumped. Throwing a p0135 code too. Replaced the Egr, both o2 sensors, checked all the hoses, and stuck in open loop. Runs great until it warms up.

Daughter ran over gas cap. Need to replace it today. Did the lx450, 80 series gas cap come with any type of lanyard from the factory?

Also washed the stock rims so I can get them mounted up this week.

After getting the cruiser repainted two years ago I did nothing to protect it. I put spray on wax but that was it. The result after two years of sitting outside was the dirt almost sticking to the paint. Of course it sees dirt and is wheeled, but dirt that was almost seeming to be apart of the paint was driving me nuts.

So I took it to a local detail guy who cut, buffed, and ceramic coated it. Looks pretty good for having 309,000 on the clock. Amazing what a good detailer can do.

Bumper is off getting powder coated, should be going back on Tuesday.
Looks great. Thats funny, I have the exact same year SB150... Just ordered a Push inverted fork for it yesterday! Decided to build it up for the next bike instead of bumping up to a 160 or 165.

Ordered Thursday morning. Came in today.
Do you run the RCV's on the front also? I had some put on a few years back and have a loud popping noise when hitting the trail(4L but not locked). Just wondering if they are loud naturally or something I should be concerned with. Robbie installed them just before he packed up and left Longmont so I have to assume they were installed right.
I did a lot of other things in the front at the same time and need to chase the sound down but not sure what else it would be other than a new set of 5L arms possibly binding on the driver side.
