Finally replaced the seat bottom cushions. OMG what a difference! I sit like an inch higher, foam is nice and firm, and it was a huge pain in the ass. Hog ring pliers helped a lot, but it's tough work. Got the manual seat bottom foam from Land Cruiser Heaven. My truck is LHD but the seats are manual seats out of a RHD so I had to trim a bit of foam from the RH seat to make space for the front tilt control.

Loaded it up with crap and drove east across the state to move and start a new job. Than I took it out for an evening ride to explore my new backyard and do a little shooting.

This is a 10 minute drive from home now, I am so stoked to be back in the mountains. Going from 3,000ft to 7,000ft elevation, no more getting sick in the high country.

How is the wind noise with your roof top light set up? Which roof rack do you have?

That’s a INTI roof rack from Venezuela…
I have 2 pelican cases behind my lights to mitigate the wind noise

The wind noise doesn't bother me unless I have the sunroof open. With the sunroof open it's good until 40mph. The roof rack is an inti, old school cool.....

Went camping in the desert. We were planning to go for four days but cut it a day short because it was raining A LOT. All the wet made normally easy trails difficult.

Finally got around to making an investment towards some suspension upgrades. @cruiseroutfit got me set up with some Long Travel BP51's and a set of J Springs.

Installed the rear lower control arms from @TRAIL TAILOR which the pictures don't do them justice. They're huge!

Overall these BP51s have a lot of adjustments which I haven't tapped into. Made a few quick changes and massive improvements over the nitro OME kit. Very plush ride now and looking forward to even more tuning.

no pics but been getting water in the factory jack area. traced it up high, to what i think is the seal to the vents behind the window slider trim piece.

managed to get that trim piece off without breaking any clips. the trick i found here is to push out from the body both the bottom stud and the top clip, then slide the whole piece upwards. i was able to release the top clip with the help of a small socket on an extension (6mm maybe? enough to compress the clip). the hardest part was probably slipping the trim pieces back under the slider window gasket

since i chose to do this without buying new parts, i used 3M butyl rope i had on hand for my gaskets. made a mess of my hands and under my finger nails making thin strips to re-create the vent gasket, clip gaskets, and re-adhere the trim edges. now waiting for the next big rain storm
