Power steering flush, RavenTai style. Started groaning like crazy a couple weeks ago (after some pretty wet wheeling, not sure if related) but super quiet now. I used Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF. It may have been over due… just a bit.

Not sure what these little seed looking things are; water droplets? In the jars are the first and last part of the flush.

In the midst of welding up roof rack holes I noticed that my rain gutters don’t appear to be properly sealed. Anyone else notice this? I know the prior owner had my 80 repainted by Helen Keller, but this seems like maybe they never were sealed properly?

The seam sealer is failing. Remember it's over 25 years old at the youngest.

Pulled it in the shop and drained the coolant in prep for a few repairs.

How long do you usually stay out for with all that gear?

appears so. i see you are missing the gutter trim pieces. i've considered pulling mine as the driver side no longer is clamped on at that same area, and it would give me a better view of the seam sealer area. just not sure what the gutter rails will look like exposed.

You will never notice they're gone.
