All good. I am the same way That decal placement bugs the crap out of me too. It was wrecked in 1999. Pre-internet repair so it was a wild guess where that decal went to a local small town body shop man. The paint is nearly flawless and has held up well thank goodness.

I think at one time Land Cruiser Phil had some of those emblems reproduced. You may check with him to see if he has any left.

Yes, They are good ones. I am just scared to mess with that old repaint. Might be catastrophic to that old paint job and clear coat.

There are really no switches for the winch per say, just the Blue Sea that combines both batteries based off voltage. But I could be wrong and will do my research as well. Thank you for the information.

No problem and happy to share. Here's the IBS schematic...I think the goal is to run the winch right off of the alternator driven battery. If it's off of the secondary, then it's pulling hard amps through the relay (200 amp on the IBS) that the alt charge passes through first to get to the secondary. Honestly, I did the same thing first too, put it on the secondary, then I found the schematic while cleaning up my terminal blocks.

It sat in the driveway this past weekend because we were out of town. Previous weekend I took the front driveshaft out chasing a nasty vibration. Looks like the DC shaft needs some attention.

I got new engine mounts and transfer case mount in this weekend. No more playing kiss between the fan and radiator. Also replaced the noisy water pump while I had things apart. So nice to have a smooth running and sounding rig again

I redid the entire cooling system last summer (Aisin water pump, fan clutch, & thermostat; Denso radiator, OEM hoses)...the fan clutch was "clicking" and noisy. She runs so quiet now - like a quiet, quiet sewing machine.

It's okay, I was replacing a radiator and doing an oil change at the same time on my old Tacoma when I was 22. Well after a few beers I poured the antifreeze in the yellow bottle into my engine instead of the yellow penzoil....haha oil shouldn't be green.

Transmission & TC - Red Line MT-90
Differential - Red Line 75W90 GL-5
Sent my old engine oil sample to Blackstone Labs for analysis.

The upcoming weekend will be replacing the brake pads.

Took the Cruiser out to the windward side. This was at Keana Farms.

Cruiser did the winter beater thing great all season. Off season has just begun in Aspen. To get out of dodge, I am running up to Oregon to visit some family. Hoping to swing in and catch the tail end of Cruise Moab on the way back. Feels so good to be back on the open road!
