Still have that paperclip up for grabs if your in OKC area.

Not installed yet, but these came in today. Never been a light bar guy. Always preferred old school KC lights. Ordered up their rock lights too.
Need to get some light tabs and I’ll be ready to install them.

Finally added rocker protection. As a secondary benefit, they should make it easier for my wife and kids to ingress and egress.

White Knuckle 10deg with full length top plates. Hit the top bolts with black paint and installed the plates prior to muscling the sliders into position. 12mm and 13mm offset box wrenches (45deg worked perfectly) are required to access the rear brake line bolt.

oh yes!! Exactly what I want. Thanks for the pics so I can see how they look installed instead of just the slider by themselves.

Replaced the recently leaky valve cover gasket for the 2nd time in my ownership of the Cruiser; first time was about 10 years ago. My biggest regret was bracing the palm of my hand on the gas filter and breaking the nipple off of it :bang:; super glued the hell out of it until an OEM replacement arrives. At 337,XXX miles, I honestly expected the drivetrain to look worse when I pulled the cover off...

3rd and final trip in Rally school.

Right at the start of the trip, I (so elgently) demonstrated my amazing off roading skills, superior terrain understanding and my prowess as a sand duner......

This folks is what happens when you hit sand at 35 psi and under estimating the 80's torque

335k. Unknown maintenance history before 265k.
I'm betting it wasn't great!

Those cylinder walls are pretty shiny and lots of ring land evidence. Not to mention the carbon buildup.

Welp. Better than nothing.
I figure this will add 60-120 seconds of PITA protection for the next methhead that wants to steal my cat. Its rats nest. 8 independent cables to cut. 2-3 decoy cables that are just in the way. And a few mangy ends to draw blood.

This is so dumb.

Fixed the seep of oil around the speed sensor by replacing the "Speedometer Shaft Sleeve Sub-assy", which includes the inner seal and outer o-ring. Pretty straightforward, one bolt to remove and one tension clip to swap the shaft & plastic gear.

Part number 33404-22010, cost $15 and took 30 minutes. Though I bet others could do it in 5-10 minutes or less!
