Added the wit's end abs plug while in there.

I previously posted up an arm rest I had installed. It didn't work out. The armrest broke off at the base when I leaned to heavily on it to get something out of the passenger seat. Here is my new new set up:

I opened the bottom box and measured it. I cut and inserted a piece of 3/4 inch plywood. This allowed me to bolt it to the console without cracking the bottom portion of the arm rest. I bought it last February and installed it right away. It has held up much better than the first one. It is also more comfortable and doesn't limit the emergency brake travel.

Can you post a pic of the e-brake pulled up with that arm rest?

I can't imagine that doesn't interfere. Maybe my EB pulls up farther than yours.

Changed tire size, couldn't find 285 at all.
Tires where old and the rubber started lossing flex (soooo loud as well)
Old (285/75/R16) vs new (275/70/R16)

Picked it up last week and got it running again today. Found the issue with the “broken front diff”…drive flange was stripped out. Drives fine with the cdl locked and sounds like a basket of angry cats when unlocked. Ordered some new flanges and then I’ll start working on other items

You have three devices going on the road?
1 - Cell phone
2 - iPad with serious wheeling and hunting apps
3 - Garmin device (don't know how much longer I will use this device)

Check the axle shafts too. They are harder metal than the flanges but I have seen them trashed when drive flanges are also trashed.

Cheers

Yep, when I replace the flanges (they shipped today) I’ll check/repack the bearings and ensure the shafts are not gnarled too.
