New head unit with twin cams. Fun little job to kill some winter time here in Missouri. ;)

Clean install on the radio. I just installed the same unit but couldn't get it set like that. Did you do some trimming on the surround?
It took me forever to get it to sit right. What ultimately ended up being the problem was the RCA cables at the back. If you can get your hand behind it via the ashtray opening while you're pushing it in and bend up the RCA cables a little bit it will fit fairly flush against the stops using the factory radio brackets on each side. At that point go ahead and drive the screws in and it should fit pretty well. I did not trim the bezel.

Took thr Nomad offroading, was great until i tried to engage 4 low then nothing.

Seems the rod got separated from transfer case. It was moving freely.

Also noticed a slight flicker in volt reading on dashboard and idle was unsteady (just slightly) and very slight dim on D when needle flickered. After market volt was steady though

Finally added rocker protection. As a secondary benefit, they should make it easier for my wife and kids to ingress and egress.

White Knuckle 10deg with full length top plates. Hit the top bolts with black paint and installed the plates prior to muscling the sliders into position. 12mm and 13mm offset box wrenches (45deg worked perfectly) are required to access the rear brake line bolt.

My cruiser will see a lot of intense UV sunlight out here on the island. Took it in to get a ceramic coating for the outside and a resin coating for the interior to help fight against UV damage. The salt and sun out here eat paint and plastic. Went with opti-coat pro, and the detailer did some amazing paint correction work to fix some deep water spot damage, swirls/scratches, etc., and am very pleased with the results.
