I'm still unlocked. I'm still winchless. I'm friendless.
That's a bad recipe for snow s***.
More momentum. Send it.

We can hang. I have a non oem engine, transmission, radius arms, trailing arms, lockers, wheels, tires, seats, bumpers, brake rotors... Although i do have new oem bolts in all the suspension components. The little tangs are cute. My wife likes them. 🥳

Spotted an @NLXTACY 80 series front axle parts diagrammatic shirt at the ICMT interface on an ex-SAA A332 on RTS. 😂😂

That first picture is an odd angle. I thought it was wood and leather together. Lol

I'm not going to debate being new, but just because I'm new to a forum doesn't mean I don't have mechical skills and knowledge.

Yeah, I think I made a poor choice of background. The same company does offer wood as an option, just not a fan personally.

Never doubting the skills and knowledge, there are some good folks and contributors on the 80 forum!!! Relax and enjoy, its all good!

What did you find was the best way to get hold of them? I messaged a couple of times off their website last year with no reply.

My initial contact was through the quote process (who I am and what type vehicle) they replied quickly with full details, instructions if I wanted to proceed, and additional contact information if I had questions.

More momentum only works if there's someone to pull you out backwards.

Speaking of winch. I'm on week 5 of 6-12 on my bumper. Hoping for an update this week to narrow the window down a little.

I'm headed to tri cities this weekend and may go over Colockum Pass on the way just to break the monotony of i90. In

I wouldn't say bad background. But I definitely thought it was a chair or something

I think this will be the route. We'll leave Friday right after traffic lightens and still be in TRI cities by dinner.

Oh yeah, installed delta rack last weekend and parked next to a very clean 60 this morning during our monthly mall cruiser run. Sorry, no better pic of delta rack, but it looks good and is strong af. On month 6 waiting for my rear bumper, so sorry my butt is nakedView attachment 2971103

Edit: snagged a shot with the delta rack

waiting 6 months for your bumper? Also Delta? or which brand?

do those stitch kits go on top of the existing leather? or did you remove the old leather from the wheel first?

Just installs right over your factory wheel; no need to remove anything.

The left side is damn near perfect, with the exception of the leather above the 10 o'clock spoke.

The right side I must've rushed and not had centered as far as the overlap goes. Still looks and feels good IMO.

Somewhere awesome - it’s been a while since I’ve posted/done anything worth posting!

Also - got to experience the drama of hearing a plane crash a few hundred yards away and the confused aftermath of WTF - running to see/help expecting bodies as crash was out of sight and kicked up a ton of desert dirt….

Thankfully pilot, wife and 2 dogs walked away completely unhurt.

Tried to land at a disused and blocked off runway….

Pass. The mountains are getting 24 by tomorrow on top of the rest of the winters snow. I don't mind playing in the snow. But I follow a local recovery groups fb and see the s*** people get into.

Smart, I got my ass handed to me with this good time few months ago. 80 didn’t make it out the other side. Although it was already on its way out, I had a slight knocking I couldn’t track down for sure reveal it’s self as for sure a loud ass rod after making it home off the mountain after a couple days of being stuck.

Damn. If it is the runway I think it is I saw a plane land there in December. Not sure if those rocks are always there, but that plane doesnt seem fit for primitive runways. Not that I know much...
