Guess what just rocked up 😁 Christmas either came very early or fairly late!

Finishing up the rear conversion into a mini camper, of sorts.

Cubby system is done and top sleeping platform will be finished in the next week or so. Would love a drawer system, but they're incredibly expensive and I'm no carpenter. Instead, spending a few weekends with the old man and basic woodworking seems to have done the trick.

3/4" maple ply, 2x8 supports, and leftover 4x4 posts with shims for leveling - turned out pretty decent!

adding another $750 the value of the vehicle I see :D

I don't see myself ever using a light that big. But I can appreciate others need for it. The squadron fits, is going to output more than enough light for my uses.
I'm running a pair of BD Squadron Pros (driving config) in my DVS bumper. Makes plenty of light and I didn't feel like I was lacking snow wheeling at night which is about as dark as it gets around here.

I'm typically all about overkill, but I don't see the point of LP9s on a truck I'm not panning on bombing through the desert at high speed at night with. Just more things to get beaten up by tree branches and overgrown trails in the NW.

Do they fit my dvs bumper?

Casually glancing, I don't see any on their site that mount the same.
You can make anything fit... but the bajas are easier to mount.

Why should I make something fit when the bumper is designed for the Baja's to fit?

Any money saved on the lights is quickly lost in labor spent modifying a brand new. Perfectly good bumper. Seems silly.

Might be the most satisfying thing I've done to my truck, all fresh window belt molding and it's been a long long long overdue refresh.

Can you provide some more details or thread you followed? I have a slight leak in the rear, not sure if it was the sliding window (wouldn't latch before, now I fixed it), or the trim pieces.

I didn't follow anything, they're pretty straightforward to replace, the clips mostly all break (even moreso in colder weather).

New belt molding clips directly in and comes with new clips. The piece for the sliding window (quarter window) slides into place I believe you simply open the rear door. I didn't need to replace that piece as mine was still ok. If you have a leak at the sliding glass it may be your window seal itself leaking. For that removal you could watch the OTRAMM video for gullwing installation. If it is your belt molding leaking and it's still in good condition you might be able to remove it and clean around the sealing area.

See this post: 80 series window belt molding - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/80-series-window-belt-molding.1218076/post-13581754

Not sure if that answers your question or not. Feel free to PM

@Dusten I was just letting you know that they can fit, and what they look like. No worries man either light is good. I happen have already had the diode dynamics.

If I had a nice set of fogs I would've definitely considered that. But I had none. I was fog light poor.

Mojave desert. Camped near some tiny mines and then looked at my aerial imagery for the trip and noticed what appeared to be another mine entrance. So, next morning drove there to check it out (around the other side of the hill). Yes, I did walk it first...

cheers,
george.
