Don’t often hear of folks going to 4.56 but if you’re sticking with 35’s I’m sure you’ll be happy. Lockers are game changers!
4.56 crew checking in.

Better to have and not need than to carry a broom stick incase struts won’t hold

Broom stick? Last time mine went out I used a toilet plunger.....

Seriously though, I am not joking

Vise grips take care of this right quick, nice insurance on windy days if you are working on it as well.
I used to know this trick...... I think when my hood came down on my noggin and gave me permanent brain damage it must have made me forget this trick lol. Also, another reason to make sure you have a hood pad. It offers a little extra noggin protection.

Cruiserheads keep getting younger and younger

Getting there.. I still have some more wet sanding and blending to do, but it is ok for now. I also installed a rear defroster stick on kit, mine was worthless. Let's see how it works. New glass with factory tint was prohibitively expensive.

I learned many things about body work in this ordeal. Did a lot of things many times over to fix mistakes.
1. That dent looking area below the window bugs me, didn't think it would be that visible. lol
2. The spray color match duplicolor is pretty good
3. 2k Clear works really well, the others suck.
4. I should have just panted the whole hatch instead of trying to just paint the affected area and blend.

Added an extension to the Yakima HoldUp rack and turned the 80 into a ridiculously long bike limo.
Nice wheels. All of them! If you're shuttling the whole team often, you may want to think about swapping the Yakima tray rack for a vertical style such as North Shore, Rincon, or Lolo, Improves the overhang considerably, clears the swing outs and folds down to allow full access to the rear.

got the rebuilt ARB air locked rear diff back in, cost me a portion of a finger getting it out nearly 6 weeks ago, bloody good feeling driving it again :)

I remember seeing those pictures. My cousin nearly lost the tip of his finger cutting a bagel one time and seeing your pictures reminded me of that.

4.56 is best for 33's and essentially brings you back to stock gearing. I have 4.56 with 33's, if you have 35s or intend to go 35s, you need 4.88.

I would not recommend 4.56 with 35 inch tires.
