Finished the rear end with 4.56 gears and locker. Removed the front drive shaft and test drove it. Gladly no noises and runs fine. On to the front end.

Yeah they have been on the radar for a couple of years, I just got diagnosed with some cervical spine stuff so posture is everything.

Hope it's not too serious and that the seats lead to many happy, pain-free miles of cruising. This also shows that I shouldn't make assumptions about fellow mudders genders based on profile pics and the general assumption that most of us who are obsessed with land cruisers are guys.

I knocked out a few things this weekend.

-CDL Switch Installed
-Painted exhaust heat shields flat back high temp
-Installed LCP positive battery lead
-Pulled front driveshaft for servicing

How do you like the wildpeaks?

I know you didn't ask me but I love my Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws...I have had them a couple years now and am so happy with them. Super quiet, last forever, great on snow and ice and pretty much everything. I rotate them to make sure they are wearing properly. 285/75/16

They appear to sit pretty low relative to factory seats (not a bad thing), but could just be the picture angle.

Did a little mudding today with the family and kids in tow. Brought along @SteelHunterFJ80 so that the twins could get dirty together..

I went with the Traveler LR edition with the heated option, they sit about 1.5 inches lower than the stock seats I also used Planted seat mounting brackets.
Colors are Anthracite on the sides and Anthracite salt and pepper for the centers. Color ended up being a moot point as my seat covers are black..LOL!

Got my foam cell pro lift in. Just went with 2”. Great ride so far. Really like the refresh over the 23 year old setup.

How do you like the wildpeaks?

At first I was doubtful ...its been almost 2years
They are quite on road, balance good, and I notice they take the the sharp rocks here in the desert alot better than some other brands I've had in the past
Wheeled @18 psi.
Best part I purchased 5 tires under 1k mounted and balance at discount tires. No regrets here...

Started fixing my orange peeled paint job...

Pre-sanding... extreme orange peel!!!

Sanded with 2000 grit and buffed with megs 105... Note the reflection of the car - easiest way to see the difference in the next pic
