Gorgeous!!Transmission is back. Time to put everything back together.
Looks amazing! Not sure how I feel about the toyota grill on an LX, but that deflare/de-cladding looks incredible. Pics like yours and these ones below really make me consider it. Just looks so clean...but I also like the look of the flares/cladding too. I'll continue to waffle on this likely for the years to come.Body shop finally finished it. Got all the holes filled and a new coat of paint. The ol girl is coming together. Now it's time to put together some bumpers.

If you don’t mind divulging the price of body work and paint... how much did that cost ya? I’d seriously consider buying those wheels off you as well but I believe I’m a bit far away from you.Body shop finally finished it. Got all the holes filled and a new coat of paint. That’s not to bad I wouldn’t be opposed to going your route and then doing the lower portion of my doors myself. My main area of concern is the rear lower quarter panels behind the bumper. Your rig is a beaut!@Cree8 Ya I found a guy local here that sprays old cars for the fun of it so it didn't cost me an exorbitant amount. It did take almost 2 months tho. I paid him $4500. He didn't do the door jams but he took everything off before he sprayed. Its hard to find a shop that will do it. They all just want to do insurance work. I had one shop quote $10,000. But I'm sure they would have done a much superior job also.

I see what I think is safety wire holes, am i right? and WTF about to do 10k miles tomorrowAre you going to safety wire all those extra AN connections so they dont vibrate loose and leak oil everywhere?
The OEM solution is more ore less fool proof...
The holes you're seeing are where pieces are pressed in to retain the outer portion of the fitting.I see what I think is safety wire holes, am i right? and WTF about to do 10k miles tomorrow

Not sure about those fittings, but I know Swagelok uses holes like that for leak testing on their fittings.these aren’t for safety wire these pinholes? View attachment 2053968
