It's been a crazy couple weeks. I spent all my free time crossing off boxes in a check-list to get ready for a big multi-week trip this summer. Before the trip I changed ALL fluids, tie/track rods, alignment, bled brakes, replaced cracking hoses, etc. Not to mention completing my on-board-air setup, roof rack w/ solar shower, and a bunch more odds 'n ends. Here she is the day before the trip started.

Then the day before the trip I bought my girlfriend a 40th.

We spent two weeks exploring the Big Horns, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Wind River, and a bunch more. Basically drove 2,500 miles through Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Beautiful country.

That’s rad congrats

This weekend and this week I put in new OME shocks and springs. Still need to do the tierod ends, steering stabilizer and caster bushings.

So understanding that the OEM solution was crazy simple and JUST a short length length of some 3/8” oil hose, I decided to way over complicate it by switching all of the trans cooler lines over to AN-6 fittings and Continental hose. I am loving how it’s all turning out and changing hoses is now going to be incredibly easy...in 15 years when it’s time to change then again 😜

Are you going to safety wire all those extra AN connections so they dont vibrate loose and leak oil everywhere?
The OEM solution is more ore less fool proof...

Thanks @RockAuto for the great deal on on new Powerstop rotors and pads. Hopefully installing this weekend.
