Last weekend. Drove up into the mountains and found a spot on the edge of a big cliff.

Then found the rear glass leak getting worse. Need to figure out if this is just the original gasket going bad.

Picked up some bits to plug holes. Decided to finally disable the auto-changing oil feature aka toyota rust preventive coating.

Turn 200000 miles today......the proper way pulling a 3.3miles 7% grade out of SLate Creek and cool doing it 👍

would that still work pulling a 6% to 10% grade 15 miles with a 5000 pound trailer with a intake temp of 130 degrees?

I was seriously asking... been using the loose hood, aux fan, & heater trick.... it has worked for some of the short 2 mile 6% grades, but the big test is our local wheelin spot up on Bald Mount. Hwy 168 from Tollhouse to Shaver lake is a 15 mile constant 6% to 10% grade climb starting at 1000 feet to 5500 feet in elevation. I will be doing this the 1st week of Aug. I am a bit nervous, I will have to do it in the cool of night.

I would do it with my HDJ80 no problem but a 1FZ? Do you have the 3:1 low range gears?
