Just having a little fun in Pismo with @GW Nugget and a couple others we ran into.

I had a horrible rattle so I wormed around under the cruiser to try and find it. There was a large gravel on the transfer case skid I pulled out. Took it for a drive and still rattled the same. Ended up that the rear sway bar bolts worked loose and was causing it. Tightened them up and all’s well.

Made it my DD for now.

Ordered some items to freshen her up... OEM plug wires, cap, rotor, front O2 sensor, fuel filter, air filter, rear upper and lower control arm bushings (just installed all new front), heavy duty rear lower control arms with correction for 4" lift, heater control valve and some green stripe heater hose. Lubed up the joints and fresh oil change.

Made my way back down to Mission Viejo. Decided I needed to pick up a new starter. Picked one up and brought it over to @NLXTACY and installed it this morning. Picking up the family now to head north towards Pismo dunes.

I am still going to add a starter relay to the system just to have it ready and available when needed.

It took a while for my West Coast Cruiser to get to California. I’m glad I finally got to meet you. Of course now I am considering your turbo, sell the supercharger and pick up the turbo. That is an incredible piece of work!

Made it to Morro rock. That rock sure makes my cruiser feel small.

We did! Incredible! Eating at JuJu now. Love this little town.

You're still welcome to join us tonight or tomorrow. It's only 10 bucks to camp at the dunes.

I’m planning on being there tomorrow. Stopped by tonight but was told no camping sites left. So, hotel tonight. Was looking forward to the dunes at sunset but... We’ll be headed there in the morning. Will text you.

Oil pump cover o-ring, water pump, belts, and radiator hoses replaced. Cleaned up a bunch of the mess caused by the failed o-ring. Someone in the family suggested I "sell that truck since I have to work on it alot". Others sucked wind and backed away as I turned to address such a gut wrenching/ridiculous wad of useless noise. Smh...family.

Haha, I have had same experiences but it was "That truck is old, it's going to break down on you."

Pulled the flaps since I kept yanking the rear fenders off. Im going to pretend those will stay on forever now....

About to order a 4x4 labs rear so trying to decide if I should just go flareless. I did that on my FJ cruiser but later added bushwhackers since the flareless winter spray made driving a bit unsafe.

Perfect tire lift combo IMO. I'm a flare fan, looks great as is.
