Washed my truck the 4th time since owned in 09. Only wash the truck after a day of wheeling. Had to take advantage of the sun here in WA. WA has terets. It can be sunny, & 5min after it starts raining

I put a Short Bus bumper on it. And scratched my head for a while trying to figure out how to hang the front license place, because the bracket that comes with the bumper requires a winch, which I don't have.

I rigged it as a temporary solution. The permanent solution will involve some drilling and tapping.

Picked up some chickens and hauled them home. 8 Banty hens and 3 chicks, one banty speckled rooster. Another pair, a blue/gray rooster and hen.

Found three eggs in the nesting boxes already. Just have to keep the critters and the dogs away from them.

Got my 4x4 Labs Bumper back from the powder coater, freshly sandblasted and coated. :bounce:

Finally got a chance to take my 80 off the pavement! Went out to the Kyburz area (Silver Fork rd) and explored a few of the dirt roads out there. It was just the wife and I and her parents, so I didn't want to try anything crazy.

And I still managed to get stuck!!! Made a total noob mistake. Took a wrong line on hill and got hung near the transfer case. Spent about an hour digging and adding rocks under the tires to free myself. Next mod: bumper and a winch!

I'm very new to the off road world so this was some fun practice. Hope to get into the more technical stuff as time goes on.

Enjoy the pics!

Great photos. What camera did you take those with or what kind of filter did you use? They look amazing.

Had some volunteer help today, my son and three of his friends. So I took them out to the farm to help with some prep work and renovations to the farm and old home place I grew up in. It is about 8 miles out of town and sits down on the Kentucky River.

Kids got hot so we took a break and I took them to the creek about a mile up the road from the house. We then treated the kids/teens to some Baskin Robbins.
