Did my annual pre summer radiator cleaning today to keep AC and cooling performing at its best. Results were good with water temp @183.2° and AC vent temp @39.2°

Man you set a high bar. I just topped off mine and best numbers I could get was 46°....

Got some aluminum deck plate from my freightliner I may try and repurpose for the 80.

All manual primes so I can practice.

Some more Land Cruiser porn, this guy is funny:

I feel ya. The Jake Busey psycho killer eyes are a little disturbing. Hopefully my old Aussie will keep him in check.
That dog looks exactly like a cross between a heeler and husky! The combo of the smartness of the heeler mixed with the devious nature of the husky could be trouble;)

I love herding dogs though. My current Aussie is too smart for his own good.

I was looking for a way to loose a few pounds as my Aussie is now 11 and not interested in going for long anything anymore. At 1 year old already and no real training I’m going to have my work cut out for me. Consistency, follow through, patience, and discipline will be the joys of my waking hours.

Along with lots of activity, brushing, and vacuuming. :hmm: Shopvac with a brush attachment?

Too bad you could not of stayed another week. You missed the biggest week for Land Cruiser porn in Moab.
He was there during Cruise Moab just did not want to go to it.

which?? cruise moab? I was there for that, if thats what your meaning. I did my own thing.

I sold my 40 and bought my 80 about 6 years ago. I bought all the usual maintenance items at that time and did most.

One item I bought 6 years ago was the inline fuel filter. Yesterday, finally, I decided it was the day. All went fairly smoothly. Was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. A few things I did which made it easier:
- Disconnected AT dip stick (just two 12mm head bolts). This allowed me to access the rear banjo much easier.
- Disconnected the PS fluid reservoir and removed the oil filter. Straight shot to FWD banjo bolt with a 6" extension on a 1/2" drive ratchet.
- Used about 30" of 3/8" extension for the 12mm mounting bolts. I made connection to the inner (harder) one within 5 seconds and it was off.
- Slotted hole on inner mounting connection, as stated here on the forum several times.

Reason why I changed the fuel filter was that during long drives on the highway then coming into town/traffic, the truck would stumble a bit...almost as if it was not getting enough fuel (or too much). Hopefully this fixes it. I had done the fuel sock last year and didn't help the situation.

Went surf fishing. The 91's first extended test on the beach. 36hrs, 100+ miles on the sand, $100 fuel, 2 lost bucktails, a few short fish, too many casts to count and 6hrs of sleep. The 80 performed flawlessly, aired down the 31's to 15psi for the softest skinny parts of the beach. Really impressed how well it did compared to all other vehicles I have used for the same thing. I think an unspoken benefit of the 3fe, is that because the power is on the low side, it is very resistant to wheel spin, which the quickest way to get stuck in the sand.

Nope. I might put a big box fan in front of the truck and see what I get. My starting temp was 61° so getting to 46° was a huge improvement.

Local dealership tested an 80 series with our aux fan kit and found it lowered AC output temp 5° inside an air conditioned shop.
