A friend of mine brought his bobcat by the shop to move some stuff around and I couldn't resist flexing out on his trailer. Not too bad for OME 861/862 and stock everything else.

Damn i need to meet up with you guys!
Hey Jgunner, We typically run stuff in the Tonto National Forest and work closely with the Forest Service to maintain trail signage and trail safety. Occasionally, we have a social run/camping trip that may or may not be on the Tonto. The group is called TRAL found at tralaz.org, Tonto Recreation Alliance. We have an event practically every weekend. Check the forum for upcoming events. Monthly meeting at the Mesa District Ranger Station, near Falcon Field, on Ingram. One hour orientation required when you want to join. We are government volunteers, and as such are required to have this orientation, otherwise, just come along as a guest and see if this works for you until you are ready to join.

Our next General Meeting is on Wednesday, the 14th of March, at 7:00pm.
The meeting will be held at the Mesa District Ranger Station. New Volunteer Orientation will be held after the general meeting.

Lots of Land Cruiser owners are a part of TRAL.

damn, right in my backyard. Im in mesa. I keep seeing done up 80’s, but always in my work truck, so i dont wave. Ill be looking into this. I oniw someone in copperstate 4x club. They do cleanups too.

Flew to Oregon, signed the title and bill of sale, spent sat/sun driving it home to MO. 2016 miles, so I blew out the cob webs and broke a passenger window regulator not noticing the window was frozen.
Welcome Back, let us know when down in SW MO

after 25 years, the oh-so-cool cell phone antenna started to take out the window tint. for an arizona truck, i'm surprised it lasted this long. of course, the day i have off to pull the old tint never gets over 38 degrees

i was committed, so armed with my harbor freight heat gun and a razor blade i went at it..... by the time i got to the last window, i had it down to a science. the only real pain was the rear window because i was afraid to use the razor around the heating elements. ended up using some fine steel wool and ammonia

Started on my rear bumper build, its been cut out but i have not had the energy. There is more work to the frame mounts that you cant see, but nothing special. Ill start with some small tacks and seeing what adjustments it will need, already found some. This is on an unmodified rear frame, bolt in. Its my own design i had drawn in solid works then cut out at a freinds shop. All 3/16

A McMaster Carr stainless toggle clamp. Started the winch mounting on the front (warn zeon platinum 12). Requires a remote mount of the control pack.
With the vertical clamp, are you getting any movement outward with the arm? Or does the locking force pull it down? Mine are horizontal and when latched because the latch point and clamp point are on the same plane there is still outward movement of the arm no matter how tight you adjust the clamp. Thinking if I move them to vertical like yours it will pull the arm into the bumper securely

This weekend :) -
1. Installed new OEM Shift Knob. Was not fun. But looks sweet. Pics to come.
2. Had Code P0401 fire away at me, so cleaned out the intake. Code went off, came back after 20 miles. Needs more cleaning or sadly an EGR Valve / Sensor ... ah well.
3. Washed, cleaned and clayed the exterior :).
4. Finally dropped the third row seats to their seated position (only had my 80 for 3 weeks) - and all the squeaks are gone. Must have been from the hinges when they were collapsed!

Love this rig.

Upgrade wire storage system for more security and better organization. Testing starts this weekend viva Baja. Out of curiosity I weighted my repair parts and tools I carry, ~115lbs. total.

Redoing insulation and headliner on the campteq last night. A little welding fire over the weekend we put out fast, but it still ruined the new headliner and insulation we'd put in. Fun fun! 1 step forward....
Glad the fire extinguisher was on hand along with a bucket of water. A bit of weld looks like it bounced off the fire blanket and right onto the headliner. Used water instead of the extinguisher to avoid a bigger mess, but the liquid plastic sure burns skin easily as I splashed it out.
