Great pics. Looks like fun. Is that just north of Big Eric's bridge in the Huron Mts? I'm sure there is more than on spot like that, but I found one up there too.

That's it, west side of the river. Every time I've been there nobody else was around...this time it was a different story...but still enjoyable.

So I swapped wheels with my FJ40.. what do you guys think? Stock or black?

Yeah Im thinking about having my stock wheels cerakoted graphite gray to match the bed liner. but I find my self liking the beadlock look!

That and the black ones are 17" so more tire options.. from what I understand.

I would agree 17" are a better choice if you plan to go down the 37" slippery slope but for 35's they are slightly shorter than 16" 35's :meh:

They both look good but I vote you sell me the black ones.

Seriously? how much shorter?

Depends entirely on the tire manufacturer, the kicker though is that lots of them are now making both a 315/70/17 thats appx. 34.7" and also a 35/12.50/17 thats closer to a true 35" tire. Pick your 17" poison.

My son has baseball in St Louis this weekend. So I rented an Impala. Apparently GM obsesses about engine temps as well.

Saw this ridiculously clean LX in Chesterfield, MO. One of the cleanest I've seen. It was spotless.

Packed up my 80 with just about everything I own and moved to Bozeman MT. From Fort Collins my girlfriend and I took the scenic route through the Tetons and Yellowstone. Before we hit Jackson we stopped at some hot springs and found an awesome waterfall. The 80 had zero issues except for being thirsty like usual and it hit 290k. Great day

Nice @JohnnyOshow22 . Now comes the hard part-study hard and learn something important!

@KC100series and I went out to a local park today and got a few good poser shots. The bumpers/sliders once again proved their worth today, taking a few good hits.

For medium coils and non-L shocks, it flexes pretty well (still had another 1/2" left in it). Note the 100 flexing in the same spot.

Started on a front end rebuild on the green 96. Should have been done a week ago but have been working on my daughter's bf's crappy Merc Sable. New struts all around. What a total POS machine and approach to building a car. Anyway, that's out of the way and the 80 is next up. We are leaving for Drummond Island in it in 3 days and my list of to-do's is HUGE. I have tried to adhere to the rule of not wrenching on the truck right before a trip but no choice now. I'll be taking lots of tools and checking torque on stuff, especially the steering knuckles!
