And it's gone....

Sad day in my life. My 60 and my Raisin are gone. Down to 1 cruiser for the first time since 2011.

Thanks to my buddy Tony for taking it away.

Goblin valley, such an incredible sunrise. I've decided my next mods will be the depo headlights, trail gear front bumper, & winch. When you're the ugly old land cruiser in the midst of a bunch of new Tacomas and FJs, you don't get your picture taken as often :) BUT, my FZJ80 kicked butt and handled the rough roads better than pretty much all other vehicles in the group. So I am more than happy. Just needs a little facelift.

@LandCruiserPhil feel free to use this for promoting your window :) Had lots of people asking about it. One of the FJs locked his keys in his car and had to break a window. I'm sure having an LCP gullwing window would have been nice.

I did my ujoints thinking the whine would go away from the driveline at higher speeds, but its almost a little bit louder. Any ideas what it could be?

Drive flanges?

Had some extra days off so I drove up to NH to Cruiserparts.net and picked up a 5th OE wheel that use acorn lugs, got said lug nuts and after market center caps. Next step is media blast and paint Duplicolor Graphite. Also put a a washer diverter valve on order. Going to put that in along w/ different washer nozzles I grabbed at NAPA.

A thread this week reminded me the PO had Hella Supertones NIB so I put those on. Meh, still sounds like a compact. A loud compact at that, might have to try a junkyard to see what I can find.

Finally put my Slee headlight harness in. Only issue I had is the connectors for the low beams won't plug into the 9011's I was running. Looks like I'll need to order 9012's? Put the original 9006's back in, hard to tell how much they improved as it was light out and I'm used to the 9011's. Many thanks to @NLXTACY for his write-up and pictures on the install.

Lastly I noticed a fair amount of oil off the distributor, luckily I have the o-ring, a new cap and rotor on the workbench. Hope I'm not too late getting to this. Need to track down @beno to get a few other things while I'm in there.

No pics, red horns just aren't that cool.

Just did the mojave road. 1000 mile trip, ~160 miles off road. Nothing uber technical: a few hip high water crossings, some sand, and a few gnarly pitches that we hand signaled through. But otherwise straight up. All in I had a rad week.

When I changed out my Ring and Pinion and differential to an Eaton on a different car this happened.

Installed my KISS drawers from @cruzerDave and tinted the front windows along with a UV blocker on the windshield. Truck is noticeably cooler inside on sunny days. Thanks to cruzerdave for working with me on the height of the deck. I'll do a full write-up when I complete the fridge mount and sleeping platform extension. Love the drawers and the organization!

I forgot a couple of pics. My cutting board inspired by someone on here but I can't remember who and the first stickers added. I used the extra cutting board pieces to create a juice shield. :) Don't want those juices running off into the drawer. :)

My six year old saw your pics and said "what's that?" When I explained she said "That's sad. Did he cry?" Then asked me if I would cry. I had to admit I just might.
