Late last week, my wife and I decided, on a whim, to drive to Poland.

Long six hours on the autobahn put us in Boleslawiec last night. This morning we travelled to Lwówka Śląski, where we delivered some donated goods to a mission, there. In the process, I did something I never thought I'd do; I drove Marjan into a Palace, drove around inside it and then drove back out.

If I had a "bucket list" I think I could probably cross "off-roading in a palace" off it.

Be careful with those whimsical drives to Poland from Germany, you never know where they might lead...

Tough weekend so far. Installed a CDL switch. I'm tired. Time for step 6.

Took an unmarked offshoot of a well known trail that i had never been on before.....

Trail abruptly ended at this sign.

And since I was in ZERO mood for a gunfight I decided not to explore further.

Saw this last night parked in valet right across my car. I jumped out of my car without a thought with phone in hand to snap the pics.
My wife said I looked like a 7 yr old seeing his favorite toy at Toys R Us. I explained the making of the truck all the way home. Her response were her eyes rolling back as I rambled on. Let's just say this thing was epic with awesome detail.

That's a lot of dust on that hood... Probably never drives it anywhere... :bang:

I torqued my nutz. And lubed my jointz.

:hillbilly:

A caliper bolt was a little loose, I retorqued the panhards, some lug nutz were kind of loose (removed the wheels anyway...)

I had a non deserved beer after my cruiser kicked my butt. I swapped the front coils side to side for no noticeable difference.
The DS still sits a little lower.
My theory was that if I swap the coils side to side they would equalize the stance. I was wrong.
Until the swap the DS had the coil turned out about 1" - 1 1/4" in order to have equal height on both sides. I thought if I swap them, I wouldn't have to turn the coil at all.
Now there is a 5/8" difference with the PS still sitting higher.

It's clear to me now, I need a second battery to balance the two sides for a better stance.

It was a real PITA doing it all by my self with a pair of jack stands and one hydraulic jack.
Next, I'll have @2KCruiser install 2" metaltech and caster correction.
The only problem is that my wife imposed an embargo on everything 80 related. She loves the car, wants to drive all the time, but I can't spend a dime on it. :bang:

@Aloha Jen needs to be a mud counselor. She gets it.

Meh :meh:

Gravel road cruising on this beautiful fall day and ran into my Dad and some machinery equally as impressive as the 80-Series. I felt left out being the only petrol engine there. :). This is my Dad's "retired job" for a farmer friend.
