I have never seen a 97 in this color... it appears stock...

That is my favorite color LC...I am surprised that the clear isn't in worse condition being that it is in Miami
 
My thoughts ....The little bit of metal shows corrosion. Not nearly enough pics to determine how bad it is. I know where you found this and the guys ad is terrible. He claims he has done a lot of work but you need to know if he used oem or cheap aftermarket parts. How is the engine? How is the front axle? Typically exhaust systems do not need replaced unless the truck was in the northern rust belt or dunked in the salt water in Florida. New radiator?...what does the rest of the coolant system look like?

Just because his ad barely passes for english doesn't mean it a terrible ads... hahahahahahah

I'm not far from Miami, so I'd obviously go see it before I did anything... I miss my 80, but I am looking at a 2004 as well...
 
Oh I definitely suggest that you hurry and see that thing in person before placing a bid! Location also gives you the power to offer less in cash. I would definitely run a report to check those miles!!

Lol, I just saw a newer taco in a similar color and was considering painting my white LC to it. Only problem is that it becomes worthless for anything but mall crawling at that point. I couldn't beat up a beautiful blue paint job.

Do you have a link? I searched the for sale section and went through a bunch of pages but can't find the thread.
 
The paint looks too good to be original when you look closely at the rear picture. The inside has seen some abuse and the bolts holding the rear hatch mounts all seem to have rust. My paint looks nowhere near that good and I don't have any rusted bolts.
