I took one of my daughters and her friend camping near the Chattooga River (the start of the Georgia Traverse - About The Georgia Traverse). It was my first shake-down trip with the Turtleback, which performed flawlessly!

Not much... Cleaned her up a little and sat in the front yard with the windows down and the stereo on.:beer:

Just wrapped up a big thru hike in the N. Cascades in Washington. Beautiful August day. If we were 500' - 1000' higher we would have been in fresh snow.

This is Goode Ridge looking at Mount Storm King- 5 miles each way with ~5000' elevation gain. There were 360' mountain views from this ridge. Sadly the peak tips were all covered. I'll see if I can't get a vid uploaded of that view.

We got to Stehekin rested up, drank some much needed beer and opted for the seaplane trip back to Chelan where the ladyfriend picked us up in the cruiser where we headed out to a remote cabin on the lake.

Took the cruiser out exploring the wilderness around the lake. Some seriously huge swaths of burn area from last year's monster fire season.

While poking around these amazing roads we saw lots of these "Escape Route" flags the forest service fire fighters had deployed left over from last year. Really had me thinking how terrifying it must have been for those guys who were killed last season when the wind turned and fire overtook their truck.

Not the weekend but got a quote to Line X the 93. Let's just say that Monstaliner is in my future. $5000 for Line X on a $2400 truck? Even I'm not THAT crazy!

Awesome! I need to do this, this fall. Any advice?

Google the Homeplace Restaurant in Salem. Located on Route 311, totally worth it if you like endless bowls and platters of country cooking. I like to look out the window of the farmhouse and guess which cow is next. If you are into that kind of thing :flipoff2:

didnt i tell you not to let women drive the 80!! how many more 80s have to be sacrificed until people realize they should not let females drive! on and off road!..hell they shouldnt even be operating a blender, let alone a garage door!

that dent looks good though! lol

Until you come across one that makes most guys look like a little biatch.

Gears! Haven't even had a chance to drive it just yet, but Nitro 4.88's along with some new rotors and fancy-shmancy performance carbon brake pads from Darren in OZ.

I've also finished up a new rear led camplight setup, and a set of 1.5" Spidertrax wheel spacers to keep the tires off the inside of the wheel wells with all my new flex with the Slinkys.

All my girls are fine drivers!

Started a PS pump job, had to take everything out since the high pressure hose was fused to the pump, and with so little space to work with my big hands i could not undo anything.

I'm still unsure if i'll change the high pressure hose, looks pretty good to me.

Replace the hose while it is off.

Hi, my name is Steve and I've gone 6 days without a CEL. I start each day with both hope and uncertainty but I'm learning to take this one day at a time. Thank you.
