4*... I'm not sure what my caster was before I installed them, but I put an OME lift on back in October and never brought it to an alignment shop for some dumb reason. Lift is a standard 2.5 - 3 inch. I knew I needed shims. I swear I could see the caster was negative when I looked at the front wheel in the wheel well. Now, I just need to have a shop fine tune the TRE if need be. My steering wheel has always been off too, so maybe I'll try to mess with that next weekend. Slowly attacking my steering and handling issues...
Mine was at 1° after OME. I neglected to lengthen the steering rod so it cocked my steering wheel to the right. The alignment shop fixed that and the toe in. It made a big difference. I think I want to add 2• as it wanders a bit.

Factory spec for the 60 is 1*
Factory spec for a Blazer is 5* from what I understand
I think more caster is probably better, but too much and you'll cup the helloutof the tires.

Drove round trip from Durango to Sedona... last tank gave me 13.5 MPG! Could be a new high!

Tried checking backlash on timing gears tonight and i cannot get them to budge at all. any suggestions? I am thinking they might have some tension on them from cranking to get the pulley nut off? Started browsing and realized the cam gear can come off and be reset without removing cam but that is certainly not FSM advisable. Any input on that, or should I just let the backing plate keep its slow leak? THANKS!

Yes more positive Caster is better but it will not cause any tire wear, Camber and Toe will or rear Thrust angle.
Most European cars run close to 10* or more.

Does anyone know a good way to leak test an oil cooler? I got mine all cleaned up and noticed this.....the roundish spot looks like oil seepage?

You could lightly pressurize it. Does look like a leak that joint looks open. It's brazed though so would be easy to fix
