Cleaned my Distributor and started putting the passenger side of my 2F back together after replacing gaskets and cleaning years of grime...

Why do I want to bring dinner over and eat it off of your 2F?

Finished up GTurbo install and intercooler on my non AC LHD 12HT. It’s been a long time mucking about.
But once I got the parts all done, only two days to assemble. I’m pretty happy with it. It’ll sit for a while
as I have to go to work, but build thread to follow in the diesel section. I designed and built all the
tubing myself. Enjoy the pics!

very cool setup. Please post pictures once you have the grille on.

my smog pump seized up. The quick as I could drive home (luckily only a few minutes) as the engine was getting hotter with the water pump no being turned by the shredded belt) contributed to a cracked lower thermostat housing ( I think that's what did it), so "while i was in there..." turned into replacing all the belts and hoses, the water pump, the lower thermostat housing, fan clutch, thermostat, smog pump, a broken BVSV, and the saginaw power steering pump (under warranty and it was moaning a bit, so why not)

Just waiting on parts now... this weekend will be me putting it all back together, nice and shiny. Along with my recent new radiator and rebuilt head, I'll be able to check quite a bit off the list.

Took my nephews, from Texas, for trout fly fishing on the South Platte River - 11 Mile Canyon (Colorado). Google Maps . There was about 2 feet of solid ice on the river and a ton of snow.

Can you spot the FJ60 in the first photo?

Trout caught = 0.
Toes frozen = 30.
Meatballs eaten = approximately 17.
Good times = infinity.

A huge thank you to Anderson at Voodoo Cruisers, Cameron at Mosley Motors, and Georg at Valley Hybrids for making this trip possible. Voodoo Cruisers provided the rebuilt 2F, Mosley the Holley Sniper EFI, Valley Hybrids the H55 transmission and and rebuilt transfer case, and I provided the labor of getting it all installed.

The FJ60 made it like a champ from 6000 ft in Colorado Springs up to 9,000 ft at the fishing spot. My distributor timing was still a bit off, but now that it is adjusted, I'm ready to take on Pikes Peak at 14,000 ft.

Looks like fun! When it gets warmer in the spring head back up there for some prime rock climbing. Many years ago when I first started out I climbed Turret Dome (with the help of one of the more experienced club members).
