All new heater hoses throughout. New fuel hoses up front (rears will come later when I do brakes). Soaked the heater valve??? In wintergreen oil and alcohol over the week to restore the rubber stopper inside. Cleaned up nice and functions like new! Pulled the front of the exhaust and replaced the gaskets and check valve. PITA! Sanded and painted the oil pan with 1200 degree header paint in hopes of preventing the same rusty exhaust spot. Got the new gasket installed and the pan lifted into place with new bolts. Drank a beer and slept like a rock.

We normally meet in Westminister off of Bolsa Chica road. We meet at the Fantastic Cafe. This beach meet up was a once a year meet.

I finished item numbers 6 and 7 on my 49 point list: new clutch & rear main seal. With new confidence, I took it for a nice long drive in the mountains, got lunch, and maybe found my new home...

Took family camping near Crisfield MD. CRAZY heat and giant insects were the fuel for a mutiny....only lasted one night. Yes that is a box fan in the picture...roughing it. Looking forward to cooler weather for sure.
