Oh Man, you've got some Winter projects! What's the plan for the orange 55?

Orange 55 is getting parted out as soon as I figure out what I want to steal from it for the blue one. I'll keep you guys posted but it will probably be during the late winter early spring.

Ok, just realized I'm nuts! Used the winch on the FJ60, snatched off the FJ40 in the shop to pull the blue FJ55 up into the shop while trying to avoid the orange FJ55. Uh yeah, I've got issues. Blue FJ55 is getting the TBI engine and 4l80e tranmission outta that white suburban behind it, the 350 engine in the blue FJ55 is getting rebuilt and going in my 59 Chevy and the sm465 transmission is going into the FJ40 in the shop. Good times!

Yep you've got issues. But not unlike anyone else on this forum. We're all nuts!

can finally post here.. cos yesterday I bought a 79 FJ55.. got to drive it for about an hour before it broke down and needed a tow the remaining 180kms home.

It had some good points:

and not so good points:

I think either the coil or fuel pump has gone that stopped it to run but the entire drivetrain needs serious work so i'm going to be swapping over everything i can after i do some under body work.

Pablo, 148 on the ODO. You wouldnt now it by how it looks and rides. Garage kept Northeast vehicle 15 years old no rust. Under is clean as whistle. LIKE . This is our 2nd one. Last one same year 250 on ODO.

I think we are close on price for this '99 LX. It has 139k on it, rust-free TX truck, BFG ATs (285) and a rear bumper with spindles for swing outs...
